While a nice theory I am not convinced The reason we got Enamorous in Legends Arceus was because one of the things the Kami trio represents are the 4 seasons, which were a core mechanic in generation 5, however we only got Tornadus (winter), Landorus (summer) and Thundurus (autumn) with a 4th kami missing to represent spring. The 4 tapus are each one the protectors of one of the Alolan islands, and while you mentioned the possibility of a 5th island, the games were pretty clear on there being only 4 main islands in Alola (professor Kukui couldn't stop talking about the number 4) and introducing a 5th tapu linked the a 5th island would require to explain why said island not part of the island trial and neither is ever hinted at in the games. Besides while the Kamis are a representation of the 4 seasons and thus are not bound to a specific region, the Tapus are the protectors of the region of Alola, they are it's indigenous deities as if they were the incarnation of the 4 islands, so I don't see how would they be in Kalos.

I like the idea of a 5th Tapu legendary! My biggest thing that could be a point against this is the new Tapu’s ability when released into the future games. Due to the Tapus utilizing all the pre-existing abilities, GameFreak will have to make a new terrain to fit in line with the rest of the group. The only other option could be that the new legendary just doesn’t have a terrain-creating ability, which I think would be odd for GameFreak to do as it just wouldn’t mesh into the pre-existing Tapus.

lumiose city has 5 plazas. bleu, magenta, rouge, jaune and vert. bleu is fini, magenta is lele, rouge is bulu, and jaune is koko. the 5th tapu will be assigned to vert, and will be green. as for the terrain, since bulu already has grassy terrain, theyll have to make a new one for it. maybe its a terrain that neautralizes the others? kind of like how rayquaza's air lock neutralizes groudon and kyogre, or how zygarde's aura break neautralizes yveltal and xerneas. all three are green too! edit: as for the alolan island its tied to, it can be a sunken island! maybe thats the reason why we didnt see it in sun and moon. the island sunk centuries ago and this tapu left in search of a new domain. or maybe its at the bottom of the ocean... fairy/dark? or maybe fairy/ground? bulu broke the pattern of the type matching its color soooo...

Personally I think the tapus don’t make sense to add another member, since they’re integral to the alola region and its lore, having a brand new tapu just pop up in old timey France makes no sense. The ultra beasts however fixes a lot of the issues, and fit every piece of evidence that points towards the tapus. Also there’s that rumoured beta story of XY with the alien invasion

Legendary Groups that I wanna see get new members: 1. Eon Duo (Latius) 2. Mew Duo (Mewthree - come on, you know you wanna do it with how much you love shoehorning Kanto in our faces, GAME FREAK) 3. My best guess for a fifth tapu would work best if they utilized an extinct Hawaiian bird since birds filled basically every niche in the ecosystem pre-contact and the environmental catastrophe there has been primarily caused by introduced species, especially cats. Which tbh is why, imo, the feline starter from Alola is part Dark type: cats are bad. Or rather, cats are HORRIBLE for Hawaii/Alola

i don't agree. The Tapus don't fit into the Kalos region as they are heavily tied to Alola. Also they would save the new Tapu for maybe a Legends Alola. I am aware of Enamorus but the Tapus are pokemon that looked tied to tropical islands and their physical appearance makes them more connected to those islands.

We already have a fifth Tapu, her name is Magearna. (That's its own whole theory where it's the artificial Tapu guarding Aether Paradise, but I won't go into that here.) All jokes aside, I would like to see any old legendary group get a new member. The Kami trio was and has always been one of my least favorite legendary groups of all time, but I have to admit that Enamorus has grown on me. She's hideous, but that's become part of her charm, and I'm a sucker for Contrary users.

I think the biggest part of speculating a new Tapu is the terrain it would set up. I like where you're headed with the Flying type, but the whole wind idea sounds more like weather than terrain. Personally, I think a Spooky/Gloomy Terrain for a Ghost type works better thematically with the others (more about the essence of a type rather than physical qualities), and even opens the door for lore about a dead Tapu from a long lost island.

I def think it will be a lake trio that gets a 4th. As you can find the sinnoh legendary trio orbs inside terminous cave meaning its somehow connected to sinnoh. Life and death are much closer related to azelf uxie and mesprite anyways

Is this happened with The Forces of Nature then I don’t see why it couldn’t happen with the Tapus. 🏝️

I can agree that the tapus will be in ZA, I know in the announcement trailer around 54-55 secs in, there are Tapu like symbols on the bridge. But I'm not sure if they will add another, but knowing GF, they would be able to explain why a 5th tapu has shown up halfway across the world

As far as I’m aware that even in the new dlc with tropical part of the biome we still can’t evolve Pikachu into Alolan Raichu. Can someone please confirm that, or dispel it with video evidence?

They should do some type of variant(s) with the Dratini line. I didn't mind the new Goomy evolutions, but a new Dragonite form would just be so much better

I don't really think bloodmoon Ursaluna and future adjacent forms for other pokemon need a blanket term. They can just be new unchangeable forms. Giving them a blanket term almost makes them into a gimmick and takes away what makes them special in my opinion. Either way though I'd love to see similar cases to bloodmoon in the future, as long as the have a purpose to be that way.

I think the real reason why Alolan Raichu became psychic type is because when you look up kanto Raichus dex entry’s is that it becomes aggressive and ultra suns entry states that is because of stress so when pikachu go to the relaxing alola region it calms them down easing up all the pressure and stress away and that could be the reason why Alolan Raichu is psychic type.

They gave us partner pikachu & eevee 2 pokemon that are stronger than their original counterparts, have access to new moves. we need more of these kind of pokemon too, and dont limit them to a specific game next time gamefreak.

The only way I see a Bloodmoon Ursaluna evolving from an Ursaring is if they made a Bloodmoon Peat item. But BM Ursa was a normal Ursaluna so I guess a forme change item like the Reveal Glass or Prison Bottle, except it breaks after use. As for in the future, I’d like to see held items that you can equip a Pokemon for breeding, like an Alola charm to hold for the offspring of a Pokemon to be its Alolan forme.

I wonder why Bloodmoon can only be male though..... Maybe in the next gen we get a female version?
