No love for the Ascent fusion! Ouch! Big Traxxas girl though. My only problem with Traxxas is how they try to make them so you can only use Traxxas parts (batteries and chargers etc).

The Ascent Fusion did not make the list only because of the controversy around it. I personally love it, but not everyone does so I tried to pick the crawlers that majority of people and I as well will agree are amazing. 😊 Yes I agree Traxxas tries to do that for sure, but their products are amazing so I guess I just put that aside 😂

Have the Megalithics on my Fusion. I have tried several different tires and the truck and the Megalithics outperformed all the others

I am the exact opposite, I love the fall and winter! It is cool or cold and the bugs are gone! Nice outing with the Gladiator and I am still not a huge fan of the body style but I like it much more than when they first came out.

It's good to see other women in the hobby. I have this truck and I love it. I still run it stock. It's very capable out of the box. I've been in the hobby for years. I rarely buy the newest releases. I'm happy with my collection as it is. Many of the vehicles that are released are old models that have been modified. I live in the desert so right now it's too hot to go crawling unless it's early in the morning.

I have the same red SCX10.3 Gladiator. It’s a great truck. I had a little scare with it though. The speed control all sudden fall apart, lost control, and started smoking. Luckily, I was able to stop it before the chassis went up in flames. I’m very cautious around the stock speed control that comes with this truck so I upgrade mine to brushless. Hopefully yours won’t do the same thing, but just be cautious.

@@RCprincess24 It sure was. I’m hoping it was just an issue with the speed control that my local hobby store installed. They told me it came out of another SCX 10.3 that the owner wanted to upgrade to brushless. They claim it was brand new but who knows.

People who are not in the hobby sometimes think it's a joke and it's really not. You are the first I have heard about a gladiator doing that though so news to me. Thank you for sharing 😊

Hey, nice collection. Did you can Imagine to Go smaller. I mean i could Not. I Just bought one Orlandoo Hunter for having a extrem portable Holiday crawler. But now i See, at this scale (32) is everywhere a Challenge but still pretty real.

I don’t care what anyone says, Traxxas is just amazing. Trx4’s are my favorite crawlers by far, but I don’t have near as many as you lol Aldo, I was going to ask about bashers before I even got to the end, would love to see that video!

I am right there with you, I counted in my head 20 crawlers in the collection right now. I thought it was more like 12 or so but you are right, they add up quickly, especially the smaller ones!!

It really does… 😂 they are addictive. I get stuck sometimes on do I really need another crawler or maybe focus on upgrading a specific one. I get bored very easily 🤦♀️ haha

Well, here’s what’s in the parking lot Duritrax invader Traxxas high Trail K10 axial JK Rubicon 2012 jeep axial Capra UTB 18 Arrma typhon grom and a Ax24 last but not least oh yeah and I forgot the Furitek gold digger and a angry sparrow I picked out my 6 x 6 because I’m building that puppy so that brings my total to eight with one in the wings

1. What batteries are you running and what run times are you getting? 2. Id like to see a comparison of the megolithics and the ruptures. The stock tires are pretty decent for RTR but id like to find another better set. 3. I used a set of black wheels with a silver beadlock ring and the red wheel nut and to me it looks awesome. I also used the silver mini T springs. Between these and the wheels it adds a nice second accent color.

I am using the Spektrum smart batteries, 1300 mAh 3s. I get amazing run time out of them. One battery lasted a couple hours of crawling and then i didn't have time to recharge and still went out the next day with the same battery and ran for a while longer. I have two specifically for the fusion and i almost never end up using both unless we are out all day long. And agreed the stock tires are decent but thats about it. I love the megalithics on it. Its a game changer! I would like to do a test between the megalithics and the ruptures so i'm sure that is coming soon 😊 Thanks so much for watching!

I know the Fusion is the product of Redcat listening to feedback on the Ascent but id like to see them do the same on the Fusion and come out with a V2. Great video btw.

The Fusion is one rig ive been able to do several mods and upgrades to and not double the cost of the truck. An extra $100 (and a few free ones of my own), and i have an amazing performing truck. I dont have a stance so i cant comment on it but i know vanquish has some great stuff but mam are they proud of it 😅.

I agree upgrading the redcat is more financially efficient than the stance. Vanquish puts out amazing products and the price point shows 😊 what upgrades did you do to the fusion? 😍

@RCprincess24 so far I've put in injora anti foams, brass inserts, aluminum wheels, losi mini t springs and heavier shock oil, and moved the cab back using the stock mounts to give it a better approach angle.

I swapped the tires to Ruptures, and some random Aliexpress wheels that match the theme as well. Never even ran the stock tires. Ruptures have been performing very well. Great video, keep it up!

I’ve got a modded Ascent (not fusion). I did put a Fusion Pro in it. I moved my battery to same location as your fusion. I also did the same thing with the Velcro. Along with the strap, it’s not moving.

Absolutely love mine! It’s already a proven rig winning comps left and right. I’m not a comp guy myself, more of a “take it on a hike and look for cool crawling spots” kind of guy and it does it all perfectly. The only thing I find myself missing sometimes is the scale feel when on the trails. But that’s what the trx4 and scx10’s are for 😁 Also just wanted to say I love your videos, you do a great job showing B roll and talking through it all explaining each rig in a great way. Keep it up!

I am not much of a competition person myself either. I'd much rather be on the rocks doing my own thing so I completely understand 😊 I agree with the scale feel not being there, but for me, the performance makes me forget sometimes 😂 And a big thank you to you for your support. Nice video, thanks for the info. I have one but still running the brushed hobbywing 555 motor. I do have the fusion family and also the XE for crawlers, but how do i install and match the system with the traxxas lighting kit? The light kit requires a couple of wires to be attached in between motor and and the esc, how do i do that with the fusion? Did you get the light kit on the truck with the fusion still in? I need some pointers here, thanks!

I completely removed all those wires and used a red JST plug to power the pro scale lights, not always perfect but works well most of the time. I have a video on my channel kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nKykY7mVqrTWaXU.html where I installed a hobby wing in my TRX4 sport. Not a high trail, but same concept. 😊
