Also if ya dig and enjoyed this backstage with the Rolling Stones 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZfaq. 😀

Mick was always ready to make moves and being able to think fast and be on the go. Bill,he was always laid-back and just seem to basically go with the flow,he didn't seem to make too many waves. Ronnie he just was always laughing and being full if fun. Keith is always the one who always gets down to the point,of whatever is going on. Charlie is the glue that held everything and everyone together, especiallythe Keith and Ronnie. Whenever Keith was going off the rails,Charlie made sure that he was headed on theright track. Just like he was there for Ronnie wherever he needed that sound sage advice. Charlie, backbone, glue, and who had the mind set to keep stuff together on and off the road🎉😢

Jesus , it’s not easy . 100-120 concerts a year over a period of 4-6 months ,and more days travelling insane miles / kilometres to concerts where you can lose your hearing , oh and pressure to write , record and sell records. Oh sure you have most of the day to relax etc or stress listening to record people and media with the business end. A lot of boredom and you can easily go into bad habits of drink (a few drinks a night, night be harmless to but then you do it every night for dozens of days straight ) , it’s remarkable that most of the Rolling Stones did not succumb to really serious drug addictions that completely killed them off. I was shocked to hear that even Charlie had a bad period on heroin (jazz people loved that drug , so it not surprised that he dabbled ) but then , why should I have been shocked , it’s a dirty dangerous industry to get involved in .

Thank you! I looked up Keith pictures in Google to try to discern when he morphed from handsome rocker to Jack Sparrow and failed. It’s 1976! He’s clearly changing from one to the other in mid-morph here.

I think I was at that concert! I still have my ticket (£3.50!) for The Stones at Glasgow Apollo on 12th May 1976. That would have been "Bianca's 5th Wedding Anniversary" and the football match would have been the European Cup Final (also played in Glasgow that night) where Bayern Munich beat Saint-Etienne 1-0. Bill mentions "hit the bar twice, the French", but I have no idea what "Scotland win" Ronnie was talking about!?! I think I also remember the final score being announced from the stage. That was my first Stones concert and I've seen them six or seven more times since.

It’s so cool running into you on here … What are the chances!?!? Haha My first Stones show was in 81 at JFK stadium Philly Pa … They looked like ants onstage . I vowed to never again go to a stadium show . Oh ! They didn’t have the big screen back then either !! Anyway got to see them play at much smaller venues over the last few decades . The Stones are Legends ! I just love Em !! I could write for hours on my Stones experiences. Instead I’m going to go pour a cup of coffee and listen to Exile . Have an awesome day 🇺🇸🤠♥️🔪
