I have a Northern Tool Powerhorse washer. This year it started on the first pull but then began shutting down a few minutes later... I had already confirmed that both the engine & pump oils were right in the middle of their dipstick ranges, and even gave the crankcase a couple of extra squirts of oil, but even slightly over-full it still conked out. So, I disconnected the low-oil sensor and it ran until the fuel tank was empty! In less than 80 hours the sensor had crapped out... (Also, despite avoiding more than a couple minutes of running with the trigger closed, the pump pushed out enough oil thru the breather tube that the oil level is now below the dipstick. I can't figure it out, because if it was a seal failure I'd have plenty of milky oil on the stick...)

Love my interceptor, biggest issue is with the buggy frame. Its engineered completely backwards. When you push the handles the force doesn't go straight forward it goes down at an angle thru the front wheels. As such the large non swivel wheels need to be opposite the push bar. In soft ground you need two people to move the machine about. One pulling a rope and one pushing. Additionally i added four spots to tie the machine down in the truck. Thanks

How is this going to suck up any leaves or pine needles from the gutters?
@Spinacleanltd10 ай бұрын
Hello, thank you for your comment. Our skyVac Interceptor is a very powerful machine from our range of gutter cleaners and is capable of removing all kinds of debris from the gutters. This vacuum also has a blow function feature to help with more challenging, stubborn debris i.e pine needles which can be problematic at times We also have a tool that has been designed specifically for pine needles to help the process of removal become easier, see link below to this product: www.spinaclean.com/skyvac-hi-flow-end-tool Any queries please give us a call - we're always happy to help 🙂

@Spinacleanltd10 ай бұрын
Hello, thank you for your comment. The blow function feature on our skyVac Interceptor is capable of reaching 4 stories high as it is with the suction power - I hope this helps
@firstname620810 ай бұрын
The pump itself is a constant cu ft per revolution, as such it makes the exact amount of vacuum and pressure depending on which port the hose is plugged into. The variable is filter restriction, hose length, and rpm's.

After many years of use, the poles stick together more easily, and when I go to pack up after a job, I have had to leave two poles stuck together and left on my roof rack, to transport. I can't get them apart no matter what I do. Is there a way to prevent this happening in the future? Yes, they are very strong, but they crack easily when they are stood on.
@Spinacleanltd11 ай бұрын
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern about the poles being stuck together, have you tried anything so far to alleviate the issue and do you clean the poles down after every use? Quite often you may find the poles get stuck when there is a little bit of grit still left from gutter cleaning, we hope we can rectify this for you Try applying heat at the joint where they’re stuck, either hot water or a hair dryer sometimes does the trick. Our poles are made from carbon fibre and designed to make gutter cleaning as light as possible for those out on the tools - any queries just give us a call on 01604 968700 we're always happy to help 🙂

These look great! I've had multiple people tell me a regular shop vac with extension poles should work fine for doing gutters. Is the extra power from an industrial gutter vac truly necessary? Could I purchase these poles and connect them to a regular shop vac?
@Spinacleanltd11 ай бұрын
Hello, thank you for your comment. Are you able to confirm which vacuum you currently have - is this just for internal use or do you use it to clean gutters at the moment? These specific poles in this video are for internal, ATEX rated zones only therefore wouldn't connect to a normal household vacuum Our Industrial vacs are designed to tackle tough, stubborn debris, we have a range of different machines available to suit all requirements. Is there a particular job you need to do which requires extra power? We'd be more than happy to discuss further 🙂

UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzfaq.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
@lauratatsch106610 ай бұрын
Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzfaq.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
