I’m old enough to have bought ‘Tales of Asgard’ at the newsstand. It was right up there with my all-time favorites. I was always disappointed that they didn’t do a lot more of them. 😢 BTW, one of my small pet peeves about Thor was that they had a long handle on Mjolner. According to the myth, the handle was very short because of interference by Loki, and only Thor could handle it for that reason. As much as I'd like the golden age omnibus volumes I'm poor. I did find a nice big cheap hardback called "wonder woman the war years" which has a nice selection with some contextual writing though which I really love.
