It may be just me, but has this car had a slight top chop? I have a stock '29 Tudor, but this one looks ever so slightly lower in roof? Looks good all green with disc wheels.

Such a good day! So calm! We needed more batteries 😂

Learned some valuable lessons with this flight! 😂😂😂 1. Always have a spotter on your first Fpv flight 2. Don’t fly with a bad servo 😊 3. Do a proper pre flight check 4. Know your land marks and call them out while your flying in the goggles 5. Do a range test so you know when you’ll lose reception 6. Bring a camp chair to sit in while in your goggles. 7. Flying with a buddy makes this hobby awesome! 8. Crashing is part of it. Don’t sweat it. Glue tape, repeat. I’m sure there is more but that’s a good start

Thought it was a bad receiver, but it was a bad servo if I remember correctly. 10:31
Hello, On the ranger 1600, do you use the speedybee f405 integrated OSD with your HD Vtx ? Or is it a "separate" OSD ?
@TooManyHobbies-15 ай бұрын
Yes, just using osd as it is setup in inav. I do use custom fonts for walksnail, they are from sneakyfpv.

I had a 31 Model A Tudor sedan with the same set-up, a 283 with the Rochester 2gc.carb. A four blade fan behind the radiator(original Ford), and a 7 lb.radiator cap,provided cooling. Never over-heated. Who needs an electric fan ?
@TooManyHobbies-15 ай бұрын
The electric fan is the only cooling, there is not an engine mounted fan. From the looks of how it was installed I’m guessing they couldn’t fit the original fan.

So it’s good that the thermal lifted the plane. Are you afraid that you will be sucked into a cloud?
@TooManyHobbies-15 ай бұрын
No, not afraid. I still had full control, it was just neat to climb so quickly without using much power.

Hey TooManyHobbies, do you have an email address at which we could contact you regarding this video? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible? (i.e. via email) :) Cheers, Felix

Thanks. It’s been great. We can get an hour of flight time and still plenty of room and power if we wanted to add more battery.
