Excellent performance and excellent equipment including the vintage PSS-790. Is there any midi involved as I notice the quantise is very good or is it possible to quantise via audio? Again excellent all round my friend. I am a keyboard man, a musician as a pure hobby ONLY. Please check me out here on KZfaq. Yesterday I collected a stunning Roland E-30, It’s EXCELLENT as well as the other keyboards I gladly own.

Excellent performance composition you’ve created. I know the on board 8trk recorder is VERY basic. My late GREAT mate had a 790 and he was VERY disappointed with the 8trk recorder though he loved the sound quality of the keyboard.

Thanks. Is it easy to set up? I’d love to midi my PSS-795 through my Roland Duo Capture EX midi/audio interface to work with GarageBand iOS.

yeah its easy! just plug the midi in and select a different channel and program on each track you make - the tones dont match up though so download the manual it has a chart in the back! Have fun :)

Excellent performance on an awesome sounding classic keyboard. Have U put through a sequencing music program via the midi channels on board the keyboard? I’ve got the exact same keyboard except it’s called the 795 a rehash of yours.

yeah its multi timbral so you can midi it through live or similar and play loads of instruments at once. This was all arranged in live but triggering all sounds at the same time :)

you need a midi interface or usb to midi cable. Really worth doing as these units can play loads of sounds at the same time :)

Ich spiel selbst Akkordeon und versuche immer wieder den schlechten Ruf dieses tollen Instruments als "Quetsch", "Knutsch" oder "veraltetes Musikantenstadlinstrument" bei meinen Zuhörern auszulöschen! Wenn ich mir diesen Musiker anschaue, dann erblasse ich vor Respekt und weiß, dass das Akkordeon neben E-Gitarre und anderen "üblichen" Instrumenten wirklich eine Zukunft hat!
