I am so glad I came across this video. I've been searching all over the place for a dual pickup rudder for my Recoil 2 for over a year now. Just recently made the leap and purchased a Leopard 3660 3180kv motor and OSE Raider 150A ESC. I want all the cooling I can get. Oh cool! I'm currently stuck with a 4mm shaft and looking to upgrade to a 3/16 shaft so I don't have to use adapters or worry about breakages from overloading the cable. I'm just now learning about moving the drive dog around and fitting a high rake cleaver prop. Do you think these kits would work for the UDI Arrow 5? They are pretty similar boats, but I know the Vector is faster out of the box. Thanks! BG4L

You will probably need to drill new bolt holes but thats all, it will work as long as the cable isnt longer than 400mm

Nice dude, already did the strut and rudder - will the trim tabs and fins be available as a seperate item? Super fun boat but terrible stability once you upgrade the power, these upgrades will help a lot.

Weird that it doesn't come with battery instructions. I am new to the better versions of the RC Boats, had cheap $100 Amazon ones that weren't too good. I can only assume that you plug in both connections to the battery charger? That's what I have done and the white light is flashing. Mine is a 1300 mah battery so I guess it won't run long. Sounds like I'll have to buy another battery.

My blackjack has terrible vibrations on high rpm , I have done a adjustment allready as it was not aligned but still vibrations. Anything else I can check here ? Shaft has been greased to. Thank you

Prop not balanced maybe, try spinning flat out without it

@@RCBoatBitzthx for the quick reply, tried and it’s same. Boat is new and hasn’t touched the water yet hahaha. Ahmm looking at it seems that the stuffing tube has a minor wrinkle in the bend and also appears to be aligned slightly side ways with the strut . Maybe the reason, seizes a bit maybe ?

I have your twin water pickup and it works great. I put mine on a cat for racing . My spartan cuts out at full throttle and I use good batteries with a high c rating and from what I have read you cant change the LVC.I might just change the motor and speed control to something I can tweak.

Congrats ! That is a really nice steady boat and with the 4S batt it really picks up ! Did you have any heating issues with the stock 100 amp esc ? I just bought one and some 4S 3600 mah batts and i plan to change the esc for a 120 amp spektrum esc. Do you think it will be better ? Also planning to put double intake water intakes one for the esc and one for the motor. Thanks !

@@eduardonessim4499 proboat now say its only a 3s package, i hurt my motor on 4s and it took out the esc on second run, they replaced it and that failed withing 30 seconds. i didnt realize the motor was the cause and blew up 3 more much better quality esc's after that until i started over with the TP

What hull do you prefer between the Recoil 26" & the Vector 80 Pro, assuming they both have upgaded inrunner motors/esc's. I believe the Vector 80 still has its self righting capability with an inrunner motor fitted.
