They made the stainless steel finish so it would last and it really worked. That car looks great for it's age.

"everybody loves the DeLorean!" One guy geeking out filming it while everybody else literally ignores it, can't be bothered to so much as give it a glance. 😂 Which reminds me of another KZfaq video of one guy geeking out filming the Star Trek TOS Enterprise used in the filming of the show, as dozens of museum patrons walk by tired, hungry, talking amongst themselves as they trudge on by, and the Enterprise is dead to them! It may as well not even exist. lol, like zero acknowledgment of the exhibit. But to that one guy it's the coolest thing in the Smithsonian it doesn't get any better. :)

After examining closely the drawings associated with the Lucas N1 Magneto "Condensectomy" the only thing different after all that effort was that the earth had been disconnected. I removed the earth screw then used a Dremel with a cut-off disc and removed the earth tab, ground down carefully between the brass end piece and the capacitor to remove the remnants of the earth tab, and the brass "button" on the side of the capacitor and made sure that there was no connection between the capacitor and brass end piece and that was it. PS place a piece of masking tape on the bobbin to protect from accidental damage while grinding. The cut-off disc will be on slight angle but it is very easy to do with care. Blow the bobbin with compressed air to remove any dust etc.
