20:05 yeah in these situations with my students, when you are about to hit the deck, for many the first reaction is just pull no matter what horizontal angle you are in and thats wrong, always level your wings than pull, nice save man, plz provide us with this mission file plz, tx yeah the landing you need to put the velocity vector in the bracket between -5 degrees even -3degrees when you are about 1 mile of the runway, 3 ticks of trim nose up and speed around 166-150knt but overall great flying Robin

Hey! Thanks for the info! I had to look through my PC given this was a mission I made on my old PC, but I did find the .miz file. There is however no mission description or anything because I made it just for the video, not with the intent to publicize it.

Hearts of Iron III is TERRIBLE when it comes to crashing. Usually (especially on my old PC) every hour. It used to crash every 20 minutes.

Had a moment not too long ago where a friend and me were hunting a bounty. He was at an outpost like that. I was in my Corsair hovering above, my friend landed his ship so he could get the guy as there was no way to properly hit him. He gets the guy, to only have himself shot in the back of the head by a random. I like the random up, and then have two other ships try and knock me out of the sky. In the end I killed about 5-6 players, not because I wanted to, but because I wanted to defend my friend lol. Only one guy pressed charges it seemed

We just sold our ERT drugs, didn't lose anything but a Corsair, we just laughed at it as my friend pressed charges. Should've taken out the Comm Array if the other player didn't want charges.

If you press Ctrl+F11 you get a free moving cam. You can place that anywhere you want. Once you have it in the location you want all you have to do is look at the aircraft you wish to track and hit "." on your Numpad. It'll track that aircraft.

We really need Anti air missiles on outposts in Star citizen it cant be that this stuff just goes unpunished until a bounty hunter decides to hunt that criminal. If you shoot a ship at an outpost there should be a whole battery of missiles coming at you immediatly. Also would add a cool effect for the guy on the ground watching the Missiles fly into the sky while alarms go off or something.

why? that's extremely unrealistic especially in a lawful system, why would anywhere but a high tier establishment with strong military presence have anti air missiles XD? Plus that would ruin the fun and risk for these spots if you knew who ever shot you would be killed and you could just go get ur loot back. Reckon they should keep that for distribution centres, seems more likely they would have lethal defences, unlike a literal junk yard.

@@Chinaman2077 You say that while literally every Cargo ship has either Lasers, laster Turrets or even Missile systems. So why shouldnt Outposts that are under UEE Law have the right to defend themselves? Scrap yards dont need AA but every other Outposts that trades with a huge amount of valuable material should definetly have some type of defense. Now the missiles dont need to be that difficult to evade just a little disadvantage in a scenario where the attacker allways has the advantage because he wont lose tons of cargo if he dies.

That's not an outpost, that is a low profile anonymous drug market place. It's really fine and intended to have zero or almost zero security at that place.

Hey hey. Every time I run a mission, I run it off a dedicated server on my own PC. Server playback tracks do not have the issues that local playback tracks in DCS have.

Why is there a second smoke trail above the ship/incoming missile? Why does the missile rattle around on the ship before exploding? Why is there a delayed reaction from the ship hull? Why do some large pieces of the ship have trouble displaying inertia/momentum after the explosion? Like @26 a large section hops up in the air randomly on the left and the nose digs upwards randomly like someone is moving it with a developer command. Is the entire game flawed like this? Will every missile/weapon contact have a chance to react this way? Do all explosions/ships have a chance to react this way? It seems like a lot of terrible collision detection, pathfinding, and possibly lag all mixed into one scenario. If the entire game is prone to this i'll put off buying it for another couple years. Can't believe after all this time they still have massive issues with basic mechanics like this.

this game/simulator is coming my all time favorite. The scale and depth is highly over-looked. I was there the other day to a aftermath. Found 24UC of Contraction Materials which fetched a easy 95K. Love the footage 👍
