This is the cheap intex pool. So yes the liner is not going to last. Your lucky if you get 4 years. This is why you buy the ultra XTR. That liner is what the regular pool company use. Like they say you get what you pay for.

I tried looking into liners but I couldn’t figure out how to get it to fit. There was no opening in the sleeve to put the poles through.,sorry if that sounds dumb but I really didn’t want an Intex pool liner.

Hello, I hope you are well. I saw your KZfaq channel. Your channel and video content is very good. Also the thumbnail design is very attractive. But here are some problems: 1. SEO score is very low 2. No title - description - tags are SEO friendly 3. Not sharing on social media platforms and your KZfaq channel is a lot of trouble. As a result views, likes and subscribers are not increasing. Benefits of 100% SEO Score: 1/ Views will increase 2/ Likes will increase 3/ Customers will increase 4/ Viewing time will increase 5/ Business will increase 6/ Audience will increase. 7/ Sales will increase. So, if you want your channel to increase subscribers, views, likes and comments with proper video SEO, Google ads and monetization. It will be your right decision. The monthly upkeep is definitely a learning curve but now that I have it all figured out it’s actually pretty easy. I’ve had this pool for 3 years now and I’m ridiculously healthy so definitely my best investment! The pool store will be your best friend. They taught me everything❤️

I'm curious about the holes you were getting in the liner that you said were from chemicals. What type of chlorine are you using and how do you add it to the pool. - 20+ years in the pool building industry.

I just use the chlorine tablets from Leslie’s pool supply. The problem happened when I was measuring the acid, shock, and alkalinity wrong. I wasn’t using a food scale so I was adding WAYYYY too much. That’s what Leslie’s told me, anyway. There were hundreds of holes😫

@@productreviews8866 Are you putting the chlorine tabs in a floating feeder? Also don't throw granular shock into the pool. Most shocks are made of calcium hypochlorite and it's slow dissolving and over time can damage the liner. Even on inground plaster pools it will leave little pit marks on the floor of the pool. Best way to add that type of shock is to fill a 5 gallon bucket with water, add the shock and let it dissolve then pour it around the perimeter of the pool. And make sure with any chlorine to water, never put chlorine granules in a bucket and add water on top. They also have non chlorine shocks like potassium peroxymonosulfate that dissolve quickly and you can add directly to the pool. Just remember with chemicals it easier to add a smaller amount, wait an hour , test the water and then add more if needed.

@@descendantoffools9767 oh wow! I had no idea I could dissolve the shock first. The pool store tells me not to do that and I couldn’t figure out why. I’m gonna try it this way for the next treatment. Thank you for letting me know! And yes, for the chlorine tabs- I put it in a floater.

@@productreviews8866 Just make sure you always add chlorine to water, not pour water on top of chlorine. When water comes in contact with chlorine the chemical process begins and the fumes can be very bad to breathe. Also remember the tabs and the shock are both chlorine just different types and can never be mixed in dry form.
