Don’t waste your time just came back experience was horrible with there super over price drinks food they ended up closing buffet and taco place a day before ship set sail from Miami if you not careful watch your account they will charge you extra for things you haven’t bought majority of there are ghetto last few days there were fights kids running around hallways knocking on ppl doors glad it’s over with will never go back ohh and they only have two pools for public super small for amount of ppl there

Such a highlight of the cruise. She even greeted each passenger as you disembarked on the last day. I have never seen a captain do that before.

Have sailed on Horizon and Sunshine. I prefer Sunshine and we have sailed a 10 day and a 13 day. Horizon was too big.

There are elevators. However the property is so huge that you have to take multiple ones to get to some areas. It’s a bit confusion

You have me so excited for my upcoming cruise on Celebrity Ascent. I am in a solo infinite verandah room. The only thing is I am going to need a drinking buddy as ALL of their drinks look amazing!!! Did you guys book another Celebrity cruise?

Nikki you are going to have a blast! I heard it got even better with the Ascent! We haven’t booked one yet but we have our eye on an Ascent or Xcel sailing for 2025! And maybe one on an older ship to see the difference

Thank you for watching. Yes it was nice to have access to the other properties so you can switch it up some days. For our group the rooms were not ready until 1pm for some people and even later in the afternoon for 1 couple. I hope yours is ready earlier.

Just got off last week. The ship is clean and contemporary. Overall we were happy and would go on it again. My teen was alittle bored but a few things that are different than Royal ships we were on. Small pool and not a lot of activities like on royal. Shopping was limited.

Thank you for sharing. That’s a fair analysis of the ship. Even though there are “kids”clubs for all ages on the ship I would be hesitant to book this for my daughter for the same reason. I feel like this ship is less about activities and heavily focused on relaxation

They are less likely to cruise during the school year. Avoid summer and all holidays; big and small. I would say right after a holiday because everyone will be back at work or school. We really enjoy late April early May as long as it does not coincide with Spring break

The Carnival Sunrise always seems crowded because they made more staterooms to have more passengers. Yet, they didn't make the ship larger. So you have almost 3,000 passengers on a cruise ship designed to hold 1, 248 passengers.

Been on both these ships. Was on the Sunrise many times as the Triumph. My wife and I both liked this ship. We were on it as the Carnival Sunrise and it wasn't as nice. The Horizon was much nicer than the Sunrise was. Never went to seafood shack. Cherry on Top is nice. Carnival has good food. Don't eat Sushi. Don't really like bars. One or two glasses of wine and usually with a meal. Carnival has good entertainment also.

Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾 I’ve been on both of these ships… The SUNRISE was definitely more of a URBAN crowd (read between the lines) and the HORIZON was more diverse… I took my 3 oldest kids(28-26-24) and the SUNRISE was the way to go💯💪🏾🫡

Really that’s so disappointing. Maybe the Excel ships are a better fit for you. There are tons more to do and see and eat.

@@TravelStews Half of the dining hall was not used. The serenity hot tubs were lukewarm and I wish the main pool wasn’t the only option. My daughter loved the kids camp but I was kind of ready to go off the ship before it was over. My other two carnival cruises were way better.
