Frankly I think fighting games have still never surpassed this There have been more important inclusions, funnier move sets, and more hype appearances, but something about Phoenix Wright in Marvel vs. Capcom brings a unique joy to me

Tom and Jerry have a rather unique design in Multiversus. Their whole design is that they don't ever actually directly attack other players, every animation is just Tom and Jerry fighting each other and the opponent just happens to get in the way. Like Tom will try to hit Jerry with a mallet and he jumps out the way but Tom's hammer swing is still the hitbox that hits the opponent. Or when Tom dodges sideways he's not actually dodging like a roll to get out of the way, he's just lunging after Jerry as he slips out if reach. The whole time they play they basically never actually pay attention to anyone else and are always locked onto each other which is interesting and very in line with the cartoons.

@@golderyze9006 It is design. Animating a move is an extension of character design. Street Fighter has like 30 characters who shoot an energy fireball from their hands but you can tell a clear difference between Ryu's full screen regular fireball and Dan's pathetic one handed attempt that barely goes one third of the screen.

MajesticFalcon35 Same, he honestly deserves a spot in the roster. He's even in a fighting game, so nobody can say that he cant have a moveset or isnt fit for smash. Just like for Banjo, Ridley, and King K Rool, all we can do is hope and pray that our wishes come true.

Anyone else notice those 2 gems on the still images at the end of the video auto block and auto throw break. And that title overcome weaknesses with assist gems. That is starting to scare me a little.

It's one thing to see the reveals on a yt screen and be excited, it's a whole other thing to see it live with a bunch of other people and letting out your excitement unabashed. Only downside? We already knew the reveals beforehand. I can only imagine how it would've been like if we didn't have those roster leaks.
