Finally a video that really shows this bike off, I’ve got one with a deposit on it until I can see it, but I really like the computer mount and cable routing… very slick

Nice bike! What frame size? I have also an OCCAM SL M10 in size large,… and that was the weight of my bike too 😊 Latter I swapped the tires to something more robust than the wicked wills.
@HandyCapito6 ай бұрын
I was surprised and disappointed by the weight, more than 21 Kg…. but probably honest. In the local shop I took in my hands a M20 carbon 360 Wh and a H30 540 Wh The difference was HUGE, I can feel much more weight in the front of the H30 bike, due to the bigger battery, which changes the feeling when you ride. I ride until now a Scott Spark full carbon 11,5 Kg and I tried a Cube Hybrid reaction 625 WH, 24,5 KG. No any pleasure to ride such a plump bike, despite the power of the motor, and not even considering if one day you have to carry it. So finally I bought the M20 for cheaper price, because it was last year model and they give me for free the range extender 250 Wh, which I will only use if one day I ride more than 40 km. But most of time I will enjoy the lightest one.

How is it designed to be low maintenance yet it doesn't use regenerative braking? That's the first thing you would implement to lower maintenance costs.
@mulecycles6613 Жыл бұрын
There are choices to be made when choosing an electric bike. This one is light weight, low maintenance and easy to handle. The KATU has a crank drive Bosch Active line motor. In my opinion, there are no good e-bikes that use regenerative braking. They are either too heavy or too complicated. They are also a nightmare if they go wrong and not supported by most bike shops if you do need a repair. Hydraulic disc brakes have more than enough power and are very easily maintained. Stick with what works 👍
@difflocktwo Жыл бұрын
@@mulecycles6613 In my experience, the cheapest Chinese direct drive hub motor and controller have been performing way beyond their specs for 10s of thousands of km of abuse. There are minimal moving parts so complexity is very low. A bicycle without motor braking is high maintenance unless it is using very heavy duty brakes which I do not have to fiddle with 10 times a year and buy new brake pads every year. Regen braking behaves the same in all riding conditions and does not change over time. Bicycle brakes on the other hand are the complete opposite.

Hey guys… So I’ve been running a Cube EBike and I have really enjoyed using over the last 2 years.. I thought about upgrading some parts but now I think I will go for a better spec’d bike plus I want to go full sus. What is the difference is components between the two models? The H15 is more expensive than the H30 and I am wondering where the extra money goes?
@unclealig10 ай бұрын
H15 has better components and a 150mm fork. Head over to the orbea page and you can select the bikes in a comparison chart.
