This would be the brook that starts on wood lane, Huyton. This side of Huyton is high ground. On one side the river Alt starts, other side this brook.

Great stuff mate, love your adventures. Saw your river walk under tarbock Island and heard there was a roman tile factory in the area and used the ochra brook to transport them to the mersey . Could be interesting to investigate further 🤔

Instead of fitting a set of gates, why not fit a simple water pump to pump the water up to the drains in the road above. Put a filter in under the pavement and get rid of the water.
