As a studio one user this customization sucks. Would really wish there was the same custom theme flexibility as reaper. If studio one reads this, please consider this it really helps motivate producers/artist get in the zone of creativity especially when you have been mixing for a long time. coming back and seeing a new theme helps a lot. Thank You

I got everything ready to work, but if I solo something that’s routed to the cuebuss it solos it on the headphone mix, so it seems like the solo defeat isn’t working

When I try that, I get each track starting AFTER the previous track, one by one, all in a row.

Thanks so much for the video. I'm a total newbie to recording...it was like you were speaking Chinese but I understood enough to know that I eventually NEED to learn to do this. The instruments in my recordings all sound mushed together and it's not nice. Anyways, if I need to learn this and am starting from zero, could you point me in the right direction as to where to start? Thanks 🙏

One cannot copy settings between sessions this way correct? For example, if I record three songs for a band, and get a base mix on one song, I cant use this to copy the session settings to another song?

Can you pan your tracks in your headphone mix without affecting the main mix?
@MrSRellzАй бұрын
You can. When you double click the send in Reaper, a small menu opens up which gives you a slider for volume and another one for pan, so you can have independent pan in your headphones but it looks like this has to be done in Reaper, I don’t see a way of doing this on the web interface
@MrSRellzАй бұрын
In fact in Reaper, if you click the route button on the headphone channel it will bring up a menu with all the tracks routed to it and you can set levels and pan for the headphone mix in one place

Thanks for the informative video. Just one question: Why render in "full speed offline"? Isn 't it safer for avoiding digital errors to choose something like "1x Offline" for example? Or is it irrelevant with DDP files?

A large part of the screen real estate are the graphs showing FFt, curves etc, and the metering showing K-20 etc. How do you use these to inform you of where there are issues and which ones do you use and why?

Thanks for the info. But the problem is I can't remotely mix the master. Options are all monitor mix. Master mix is not one of the options. Hope there's a way to mix both master and monitor remotely.

Great info, thanks! But how do you re-insert what you worked on back into the track on a Mac? You do command T to take it "out" to work on but then the other parts of my track disappear and I can't get it to reinsert into the original track.
@tortoniarecords20473 ай бұрын
Congratulations for the video!!! But by trying this technique I realized the approximation of the melodyne detection.... if you zoom in well on the original audio track and the newly generated midi one you will notice that each midi note is not exactly in phase with the track original, and therefore unfortunately it will be necessary to manually move each midi note generated to make it sound in phase with the original. I noticed the same problem with the detection of transients in studio one... all the detected transients are not in phase, they are the original and you need to fix them one at a time!!! It would be nice to find a quick solution to this problem without having to waste a lot of time aligning each phase... also because each detection is different and it's not enough to drag the new trace back a few milliseconds...
