I came up with a new terminology applicable to generative AI; its called GITO - Garbage In, Treasure Out
@GoCloudArchitects
@GoCloudArchitects 3 күн бұрын
@@ebukaobiakor9322 I love the term. But with AI if the training data is bad the results are bad. Sadly, it’s still garbage in garage out.

@@GoCloudArchitects Nice, that's where I disagree a bit. I believe that the foundational models for GenAI will be so good, that incorrect data at the usage level can be mitigated. This wasn't possible previously.

Think about AI knowing that the training data is bad, and informing or knowing how to handle bad data to generate good results ;) #GITO

2:35, the description of a Solution Architect provided by you and TechWithLucy is kinda what I'm looking for. I'm a PO/PM with a software developer background. I want to consult and provide solutions not necessarily be so concerned with every panel of the AWS Console. Thanks.

I am business professional, I been in the IT field for about 5 years, I am not a tach professional, I think I can explain very well to no technical people, how can I show that as an strongness and no as a weakness in my job interviews?
@GoCloudArchitects
@GoCloudArchitects 22 күн бұрын
It’s dependent upon the context of the career. For example in a cloud architect career where our whole job is to design systems to improve business performance you can show that your business acumen can help you drive business transformation. Architects need to work with the C-suite, lead teams, facilitate meetings, deliver presentations respond to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs etc. These are all business functions. Actually 70 percent of all architectures fail because the architects lack the business acumen to properly design an architecture that works for the business So you want to show how your knowledge of business is a strength. You will need to be competent on the tech part. You will need to demonstrate competency by the way you communicate things on an interview. But a business background should help you here too. Now this would help different in an engineering career which was all tech. Then you would need to use a new strategy. That’s why it’s career dependent.

I think when it comes to *cloud specific* careers there’s some merit to skipping the sysops cert. however as someone who is the tech director for appsec at a fortune 50 firm, I want my cloud security folks to at least have all three associate level certs. Whether it’s right or not, as security assessment folks we are expected to be at least as smart as the people building and writing applications on these platforms. A pentester that understands AWS sysops can actually tell you how to fix what you did wrong. Architecture teaches you how to understand system design to guess more quickly where you should test, and the developer cert will tell you what future-forward designs are going to look like so you can successfully attack these implementations before they become commonplace. If you’re aiming for security focused careers, get the 3 associates then security, then the rest as interest dictates. That said, yes, if you plan on being an architect stick to the certs most relevant to the role.
