Jason Donovan was on just before Michael,Dana and Frank Bruno. Jason mimed into an unplugged microphone and using an electric guitar with no amps or lead.. Frank Bruno nailed the live performance, and he was a boxer.. Michael was having a dig at Jasonwhile letting Frank shine

I can't believe this is available online! This is the first time I ever saw them! I remember sitting on the stairs watching this performance through our glass sitting room doors and thinking Gary had the coolest hair in the world. This moment sparked a lifetime obsession. I can't believe I've just watched it again!

The Stormy Waters song was one of the only bits in this whole show I didn't already know in 1993 (this got watched on video a LOT, which implies I might be able to dig out a stereo recording at some point), so I assumed it was from some classic musical my grandparents might know about. Turns out it was just some bloke's single from the time, and didn't even have those jazzy close harmonies in it, and I've always been rather disappointed about that.
