Thank you for taking the time to make this video and share it with the world. Your Aunt, Flo Jo, was great! She was so sweet and genuine. I watched that interview that she gave with her husband. They were so great together. Such a loss for your family and the world. But what a great life she lived although far too short.

In Spanish, Black means a color. But, there has been a movement to galvanize support against “Black” people by calling us the N word. Surely, you aren’t saying the N word is harmless. They weaponized that word. …. I’m just highlighting history that has been swept under the rug. This video is a result of my research. Nothing else. My question for my viewers is: “what do you think was Carrillo’s intention when he posted the signs that read “Calle de Los Negros?”

It is objectively wrong to rewrite history. If something was actually called N word alley than it anyone should be able to use the hard R. Otherwise why not willingly rename other people or historical places just to appease some one's feeling? If I was robbed by a guy named Jack I wouldn't rename him Tom because I had fond feelings for an Uncle Jack.

Tho there are profane words the word negro does not mean the n word in Spanish at all. It just means black. We’re not a bunch of softies in Spanish. Your native homie is Indio, your black homie is negro, your white homie is guero, your Asian looking homie is chino, your fat homie is gordo, your skinny homie is flaco and so on. I watched Native Son today. What I enjoyed most is the message that Wright was conveying to the Black community about not being afraid. I'm still working on The Outsider. As of today, Wright is my favorite Black author... fascinating man!
