What happens if you file the reed (i dont know how this metal thing you file is called) too much Or if the accordian is out of tune on the upper side (neadle on your device is on the right of the required note)? Can you somehow add the material back to make the note lower? Also do you think I could use a compressor to blow the air into reeds and a tuner app on my phone if I want to tune accordian at home?

Frans, please clarify - you don't wax in between the reed plates, do you? From the video it looks like the comb was pre-waxed and you only waxed the outer edges of the whole "reed plates assembly" after putting all the plates on the block. I see the spacing is very tight on these blocks but I also know that techs often wax these tight spacing one by one: while the wax of the first reed plate is still soft on the side the second reed plate is fixed next to the first one and so on. You obviously don't do this. Why?

Frans, g´woon PRACHTIG dit!!! Alles beluisterd, mooi klinkt dat ook in samenspel met de blokfluit, niet makkelijk. Jouw VanderAa´s hebben toch een geweldige klank. Het is ook wel goud, als je zoiets zelf kunt maken. Het eerste stuk dat je speelt, dan vanaf 16:30 tot 18:40 en die 2 stukken erna op je CF zijn mijn favorieten hier. Vriendelijke groet, Ingrid
