This was wonderful and I was reschooled about a number of works that I was quite familiar with but had forgotten the stories and connections to the gods or nobility. It was such a pleasure to listen to Olga talk, not so much a lecture but more like a friend going through the magnificent collection with you. I am and have always been obsessed with the ceiling in the Egyptian room as I believe the trompe l'oeil is the best in there. How to learn more? "Come to Rome!" was the perfect answer! Thank you to all who helped bring Olga to us! Baci, baci.

Thank you. With so many sculptures, there must be a long history of schooling passed down from ancient masters. Almost all Roman statues are unbelievably well done and think there are generations of unknown masters . It overwhelms me that there is even one great artist, much less thousands.

PILGRIMS. Conduct a life of celibacy and emotional solitude without travelling or joining a monastery by simply living with my wife. It`s more comfortable and you`ll be able to watch TV and use the internet.

Junk. Hirst isn't a real artist, he doesn't have the gift. If he did we would have already seen that. He lies about his sales prices to hype his work.

@@olgarome5211 The whole market is fixed just like the stock market. I've been a painter for decades, I stopped showing work 15 years ago because I don't song-and-dance, I'm not a marketer or a sales person. There were other things as well. Basquiat was the last great painter we had, art has been dead since the 1980s ended. I do enjoy Banksy because he does complex things with simple imagery, I wouldn't put his art on a wall it belongs outside. I like that he doesn't copyright, and he's worth $50 million, he could be worth $500 million or billions with the NFT craze. I like Banksy because he's the opposite of people like Hirst, Koons and so many others I could name. Yes I read about the skull. The piece Hirst did with the flys and maggots and the cows head, Dali already did that. We need another big movement. There's some nice new work here and there but I don't want nice, I want to be overwhelmed. Hahahaha I'm ranting here. Happy Sunday.
