So - you have considered "the impact of bus stops"? Yet you proceeded to drop Bus Stops in the middle of lanes and create congestion. Unnecessary congestion (such as this) creates angry drivers which, in turn, creates dangerous scenarios where drivers are operating under the influence of adrenaline.

Wrong! Change is not always difficult. Logical change where community consideration is easy to support.

The Mayor talks about 'Council reputation' yet, by proceeding while ignoring the public, you have dropped the ball. We have been told to provide feedback yet you have proceeded regardless. Very sad indeed.

Timeframes would run out - so Councillors rushed it through simply to obtain the funding. That is entirely irresponsible.

Based on this discussion, Councillors decided to proceed with poorly designed roading solutions because the funding would support it - rather than making logical decisions (for which it seems there may not have been funding). Just wow...

How is it that the 'cycleway' can trump the logical use of this roading area? The thousands of road users who are not cyclists are now being adversely affected by decisions affecting such a minor number of road users. How many injuries or deaths of cyclists have been experienced at this intersection over the past five years?

The clearways are a joke! Vehicles use these, find McDonalds is blocked, and then block the flow of traffic. Because there are no consequential crashes does not mean it does not need to be fixed! Selfish motorists using McDonalds are willing to block traffic flow by stopping themselves in the middle of the road.

Great questions Councillor Dennison. It was disappointing that the answers to these questions were misleading, circumvented and showed poor understanding of the concerns. This whole plan is despicable and Councillors should be embarrassed that they have ignored logic and community position.

And I thought Whangarei was trash.

Code for insultation here in Denmark is 40cm for walls. Do I need the same dimensions for the ducting? They are metal pipes that are outside the thermal envelope of the house. At the moment they have about 2.5cm of insulation. I've thrown some insulation on other bits but i fear they are not fully encased.
