What is the performance or difference between a flat-bottom boat versus a semi-oval bottom boat?

FLat boats will get into more shallow water but semi V boats will cut through waves and have a smoother riding experience

The Sport kit predates the Feather Lite kit by several years. The Sport kit has a longer, cast aluminum housing whereas the Feather Lite is welded aluminum. Both kits share the same clutch and propeller but use different sized belts. The Sport kit has two transom options, short shaft and tall shaft
