Just because these big name players who get paid and get free organs to do videos on products and these players are masters at their craft doesn’t mean you should trust these companies who out a product knowing full well there were issues with the Leslie 3300 in my case the 11pin connection was faulty and it could have blown up any Leslie you connect to the Legend I bought the entire set up the legend organ the stand and the bench and pedals it cost me $6000.00 +/- taxes and shipping. I bought from Vince on line dealer who gives good prices but if any problems arise out of the box he will put you off to viscount even in the 1st 30 days no refunds no exchanges. Then if viscount don’t help you with your issues you are stuck paying for repairs after 1 year the warranty is up and you will get paying out of pocket repairs parts labor shipping to and back to you both ways to fix something they knew was wrong with their legends before they sent them out they knew about faulty parts. These professional players tell customers things sometimes when you ask and Hal claims this company knew about the 11 pin Leslie popping a year before I bought mine. So that’s how I caught viscount in a lie. They tried to tell me I was the very 1st customer to ever call them about the 11- 0:03 pin issue. Viscount lies to their customers. If you purchase a legend and you use the 1/4 jack with your Leslie then you would not realize the 11 pin was faulty until you use it so then once the warranty goes out and keys say you buy a Leslie after 1 year warranty is up then they are putting that cost of their faulty parts they knew was faulty on the customer. That to me is shady and they have been caught lying to their customers. I have emails text messages and fb messages from Hal the professional player who admitted to me that he knew about it and called them and they fixed his. Well if they knew about it issue why didn’t Viscount tell all it’s legend customers about this issue because it can blow up any Leslie you connect via 11 pin. Not 1/4” Jack. That part was ok. But u was told by Hal and viscount in Italy they knew it was faulty before they shipped them out. Then why would you not in good faith tell the on line dealers and companies who are selling this legend that there is a problem with a part and do a recall ? Because they will be out all the money for parts labor shipping both ways to fix the issue and they are hoping customers who use the 1/4” jack don’t notice until warranty is up in one year them then the customer gets stuck with the cost paying out of pocket for parts labor shipping both ways. Hammonds doesn’t lie to their customers. But viscount has been caught lying I gave the emails to prove it. Stay away from companies that lie. All these dealers are not being honest either the only company I have had that backs up their products is Sweetwater. They have never lied to me and if anything is wrong with anything they sell they will refund or do exchange. I made the biggest mistake of my life when I trusted an online dealer and spent $6000 for a complete legend setup with bench bass pedals and the stand. They purposely damaged my organ and sent it back to me because I put out a KZfaq video about their shady practices. They told FedEx that customers will often damage their instruments to get a new one. Why would I damage my own new legend when it has a one year warranty. I sent it in for the updates and they didn’t like me calling them out on their lies I caught them in so they damaged my legend before they sent it back I believe to shut me up. I bought a Hammond XK5 from Sweetwater. I trusted Vince S an on line dealer and he is a liar. And a cheat. He won’t back up what he sells. I was trying to save money and made the biggest mistake of my life. I had to eat the $6000 and viscount is on a campaign to stop me from talking. But they will lose customers I was willing to sacrifice my $6000 to warn others to be careful who you buy from on line. Go with a company like Sweetwater I have used them since 2005 and not once have they ever let me down. They will always make things things right if I had gone with Sweetwater I could have sent this legend back the bench and bass pedals and the stand and got a full refund no questions asked and get credit towards my Hammond xk5 pro series that I bought. Lesson learned don’t buy from on line dealers who promise good prices but don’t refund or exchange once you find out you gave an issue and viscount us to blame. Shame on Vice and shame on Josh dive and viscount. I will go to my grave to warn people about Vince the dealer and viscount if I gave to. I still have not got this taken care of FedEx refused to pay fir the shipping damage when viscount paid for shipping and they paid and shipped it with insurance and then after I get it back my legend was damaged can not be played and Josh dove if viscount USA North America told fed ex to not pay fur damages because I damaged my own new organ. That’s crazy and stupid why would I damage my new investment when I sent it in for a repair under warranty. ??? That makes no sense and I had the good sense to have a recording on my iPhone when I hit it back abd opened the box and they had damaged it to where it cannot be played. FedEx cones to my home and sees the damage I explained to them what happened and viscount lies to fed ex because I made a video about viscount and this experience and out it out on KZfaq and it has cost them customers and it cost them sales. People are reading my story and seeing my videos and they are refusing to buy viscount anything from this company. Because once a company gets caught lying they cannot be trusted. Always buy from a reputable company who refund or exchanges during warranty or fixes the issues. Thus is why Sweetwater won’t sell the viscount organs. Because I told them my dealer at Sweetwater what they did I warned them !! I made a mistake not buying from Sweetwater and I lost my investment. Do not trust viscount. They lie to customers and you will be sorry. I don’t care that Joey put his name on the viscount. He didn’t out his name on the organ until way after the 1st generation legends came out with faulty parts and they lied and covered it up. These Guys like Joey they are getting paid or getting a free organ to out their name on it. But that doesn’t mean that viscount gets to screw their 1st generation legend buyers out if their investment and lie to them and hopes you won’t realize that their 11 pin was faulty and their CHorus /VIBRATO board was faulty !! These guts like Joey that are famous can afford to lose $6000 because they are famous and rich. Well I’m not rich and $6000 is a lot of money to me. I can sell the bench the bass pedals and the stand but I’m stuck with a $2950 Legend that is a LEMON.

Wow. That Leslie emulation is super muddy. I guess my expectations for emulation in 2024 were a bit too high. It probably sounds fine to anyone who has never played or become familiar with a REAL Leslie. I doubt many churches would be happy with this. Props to the musician though. He did well given what he was working with.

The sound of this organ is really convincing. I only have trouble with the trills, they sound too fast, making it sound electronic.

Congratulations I was faced with buying a Trio but as a matter of principle I won’t buy anything without seeing and trying it first and that is the problem of living in a small country. I had the choice of a Prestige 80 and while not new it was in mint condition with all, the bells and whistles and cheaper than importing a new model. Also I could see and try it first. While I am very happy with it I only regret it is not mobile and cannot take it places. So I hope you greatly enjoy the Trio.

Hi, I have the Legend 70's Compact EX with all the boards.. It's great to see Viscount continuously improving the instrument and adding new sounds! I don't know if this exists somewhere but it would be perfect to have some how-to videos on how to dowload new firmware (I know it's easy to the laptop) and then upload to the instrument, with tips/instructions on how to upload to the various boards and organise in Lists/Songs on the Editor. The manual (s) explain it, but it is quite difficult to figure it out, trial and errors. A how-to video would make life and enjoyment of the process a lot easier for many users, I am sure. Grazie mille!

Excellent redesign of the switching method for each note! I recently repaired an older version (from 2019) of Viscount pedalboard and I was surprised to see tiny conductive rubber switches inside. I made video of the repair, before I watched this video, and I suggested using reed switches or Hall sensors instead of the tiny tactile rubber switches. Great work!

Why can't a hardware organ manufacturer just focus on doing ONE organ sound really really well, instead of throwing in a bunch of bad symphonic organ sounds, plus piano and harpsichord and other crap nobody wants? And what's that garbage tremolo on the "german baroque" organ? Barf
