Do you have the British Eurosport coverage of the 250cc race that same day? I was 14 at the time and I remember Toby Moody getting so excited when McWilliams battled the factory Aprilias that his voice almost reached a level where only dogs could hear him. Cracking race, at a time when British fans of GP racing didn't have much to shout about but Jezza have us some wonderful races to cheer.

Last ever race for Aoki and he did so well, nearly winning it on the little twin against his teammates far more powerful machine. His last GP was his best.

Essa foi a única vez que não fui ao mundial de motociclismo no Rio. De 1996 a 2004 estive presente, uma pena não haver mais o mundial no Brasil e terem destruído a pista de Jacarepaguá...

Thank you Wiggy, for posting these old school races! I only started riding motorcycles/ getting into motorcycle racing in 2015, and it's nice to be able to watch these old school races with the Legends! It's funny that I didn't even notice Valentino Rossi on the grid until I saw his bike sitting on the side of the track with 9 laps left (about 30 min into the race 😂). I had to then rewind the whole race and watch it over with knowing VR46 was racing 250cc in 98' (I didn't realize Rossi was already racing 250cc in 98'). I'm about to take the bike out for a ride too (I got a Zx6r)....😊 Cheers guys and be safe out there!
