I think that we all forget that Mark and Tony as a rhythm section were as tight as a gnat's chuff. Awesome live band. I seen them many times and eventually got to work with them. Many times after a Barrowland gig I'd go home a stone lighter due to the amount of sweat! Happy days

And this is how it should be done, crowd perception, something you don’t see at gigs anymore, to many cunts watching it through their phones!

What an incredibly talented person he was. The world missed out on the rest of the story...I still love these songs 40 years later.

Weird how this song makes me time travel back to my earliest childhood memory, was 7 years old, my sister was 8 dad had just painted our bedroom and this was playing on the radio, still remember the strong smell of the sky blue enamel paint drying and him laughing, smoking a ciggie. 😁

We played this a lot at base camp while deployed at a forward operating location in A-Stan in 2005. Primary Reserve Regiment in Her Royal Majesty's Canadian Regiment. We had a traditional piper and he played Fields of Fire on the pipes when we withdrew. I was not cleared for a 3rd tour.

Best live band ever by a long long way; lucky enough to see them countless times around Scotland in the 80's. BC at the Barras - OMG still brings goose bumps - thanks for sharing.

I want to create a VIDEO of a Native American DANCE to this SONG. The BEAT + MELODY + VERSE is SOOOO, There. A Deer dances and prances about, Then behold: --You know that CHALLENGE BUTTER PIC with a 14 Point BUCK? Yeah. Well... Connect the dots. ... ...Anyone seen the Gerard Butler film where he's a Submarine Captain and he DECIDES to NOT shoot the Male 14 Point Deer Father scoping out the area before giving the "okay" to his Wife Deer and Baby Doe, to priceed? The film at his point is about a Human Male, hunting a Deer Male. A Human having the advantage of SCOPE Rifle. Not a real challenge though, right? Right. THAT 14 Point BUCK of Family Pride and PROTECTION and enjoying God's Wonderland. That's THIS Song.
