ABSOLUTELY WELL SAID! Children need parents to establish boundaries and help them build the wisdom of choice over a period of time. 😊

I'm still digesting the intro, I simply cannot believe that those things were said by actual kids to their parents. I cannot imagine saying anything remotely close to that to my parents!

Lovely episode! I remember my days of high expectations and consequent disappointments, of myself and others - they go hand in hand. Louise Hay's methods of practicing self acceptance and self approval helped hugely.

Fabulous episode! I really wish people would stop to think how they would feel if someone gave them unasked-for advice, esp on a sensitive matter like childcare.

Wow great! Did Ducky cry on the first night alone?

She cried for less than 5 minutes as we went through the process. No crying at all once she was asleep. Day 2 was only a little protesting, no crying / protesting from day 3 onwards.

Hey Kannika! You've highlighted such wonderful points in this video. I found this as a savior for me too. Once my son was a little over a year old, I started planning activities for him that I would also enjoy. It's been such a life saver! And when we enjoy doing something with them, they enjoying that activity a lot more too! ❤️

You made a fantastic point here that having done everything we wanted before having our children and just keeping that in mind helps deal with the frustration better 😁 BTW little one has the cutest most bubbly laugh. So precious ❤

Very interesting. The key question is, why do we need the approval / need / love of others to feel good about ourselves

I have been entering this stage in life too. I'm 27 and have always felt like I need to be more and better. I'm always waiting for my life to begin. Waiting for circumstances to change. But I have decided to start where I am now. Start loving myself here and now.

So well articulated. It takes a while for everyone to figure out what's going to work for them. And I think that's enjoying movement and thanking yourself through struggling on basic poses that it's doable. Just because we showed up.
