No, it's not. The unmarked crosswalk is about 20ft from where they started crossing. I stopped to let them cross when the other traffic didn't. I sarcastically said "You're welcome," because they crossed with their backs to me on a diagonal and made no gesture of thanks when I could have just driven by like everyone else. Thanks for spending my day to trawl decade-old clip compilations for a "gotcha." You have to do what you have to do to keep your dopamine levels up, right? I appreciate the views and comments-each one puts more money in my pocket!

Not even remotely true. This is what's call an unmarked crosswalk and the rules apply to them the same as marked crosswalks. In almost 100% of cases, drivers who hit someone from behind are at fault and this would not be an exception. novascotia.ca/tran/roadsafety/crosswalksafetyQ&A.asp

I live in Florida right near all the tourists. I often call my County's non emergency line and report drivers who are all over the place, driving really slow, and using the wrong indicators. Last night some SUV with Michigan was weaving so bad he almost turned and hit a car in the opposing lane
