She was describing a pin curl pixie cut ( Betty boob curls) and can definitely get it with straight hair and sometimes all hairstylist don’t know how to do it. Like she didn’t want a natural 4c curl or anything, she literally wanted a pinwheel curl. And even with natural hair you have to flat iron to get get the pin curl affect.

What about dreadlocks…. I’m a wash and go kind of girl. Which moisturizers would you recommend for dreadlocks?

My blood pressure med was changed by my doctor. That changed caused my hair to fall out at the crown area for a mth. Then is stopping once my body was accustomed to the new med. I began my healthy eating journey. I included drinking aloe vera juice mixed with cranberry juice throughout my day, not eating fried or processed food. NO longer eat fast foods , no salt, no chips, no ice cream ( I substitute it for greak yogurt) & no soda. Since my hair 3c it naturally curly I only use fruit of nature aloe vera gel & castor oil in my hair. I STOPPED using jam hair gel bc it too heavy of product for my hair & my cousin that a stylist say it causes hair fall out. Medicine I didn't know it had a big effect on hair til my doctors switch my blood pressure med a yrar ago.

My curls are the tighter coil and considered “4C”. I am interested in what look I would have if I wore my hair in a “wash-n-go” style, my length is past my shoulders. However, these curls LOVE to hug each TOO MUCH and the amount of fairy knots that I’d end up with is ABSOLUTE TORTURE!!! 🤦🏽♀️ If there’s some magical way of avoiding those, I am all ears!!! 👍🏽

Hi, all I'm not ready to embrace my gray, I have a beautiful mahogany alburn brown with reddish highlights and it looks like fall. I love it. But suddenly, these grays have decided to rush me out of the phase. And keeping up with the color is becoming a lot. How do i enjoy what i like while maintaining healthy hair.

I shed so much. Always found it alarming seeing all that hair on my bathroom floor. It’s possible I need not to go more than a week without washing(hydration) But honestly my hair is still thicker and fuller than ever 😅
