Do you know if you can flip the machine 180° so the dust ports come in on the other side?
@mitchellwoodworx98478 ай бұрын
I don’t think u can do that. U could route duct work up and over though. In my new shop my ceilings are taller so I had to go up and then out.

Very happy with unit. I would buy again for sure, probably go with the double or three dust bins though.

I have this, but I run into two issues, one is the noise level is very high, the other is the bin does not seal properly, how do you solve those? t hanks
@mitchellwoodworx98472 жыл бұрын
So is your DC in a small shop? Ours was in a small shop in video, but since then we moved to a bigger shop and noise level when down drastically. I sealed by bin with silicone and aluminum tape. Works great.
@beanxlj2 жыл бұрын
@@mitchellwoodworx9847 we are in a big shop. The deal issue is not the bin itself, it's the seal against the machine
@mitchellwoodworx98472 жыл бұрын
I haven’t had an issue. Make sure the bin is tight enough against the rubber seal, if not adjust the latch.

Nice video! I'd be interested to know how you made your electrical connections. I have an IS 510 being built and trying to figure out power location, disconnects, etc. Also, understand that the cables that come with the machine are only 5' long so assume heavy-duty extension cords will be needed to reach power that is further away.

I’m about to buy one of these and I have a question for you if you don’t mind. I have 120” or 10’ ceilings in my shop, so I would only have 9” to spare once this thing is standing upright. Can you see any reasons why this machine wouldn’t work for me, be it during the assembly process or later maintenance procedures? Is there anything that has to be accessed from the top? Lastly, the 111” assembled height Laguna has listed is to the top of the motor correct? Thanks so much for your help.

Rather B. Anonymous I think you’d be fine. My rafters are at 9 ft In my shop. But I don’t have a ceiling in my shop either.

Is this quiet? Within reason? Did you purchase from Laguna or from a vendor? How big is your shop? Mine is 4000 sf. I work alone. Would this handle my loads? Do you have videos of it running? Videos of your shop/ shop tour?
