What do you do when temperatures drop to freezing and well below freezing? Won't that narrow pipe freeze and get blocked?

Not really because there isn't water in the pipe - just like a downspout from a gutter. The pipe is basically air.

Great ideas. The milk jug will crush in but it will still work for many years. Next time look for something stronger. I used a 5 gallon bucket that had a leak. Anything strong enough to not be crushed in your hands will work. Make sure you bury it deep enough so the smell won’t come out!

I would dig the hole a little deeper and pour in some crushed limestone to help control the odor from the urine. I would also run the small pipe up into the blind and only have a small length of "target", then you can just dump a cup of water after the urine to flush everything down.

Thanks for the comment Thom! I have some pictures, but I don't think I can post them in comments. Look me up on Facebook.? (my full name is Tyler Krzewina). I can send you a message with some pictures. PS - if you live and breath hunting like me, thought I'd include a link to this past season's hunt (below). I was fortunate enough to grunt, rattle and stalk hunt a nice WI buck. Really awesome experience. Check it out?! :) Happy Hunting!

Use a 2 liter soda bottle for the urinal , cur bottom off hook pice of water pipe to neck , run to outside to a hole with stones and gravel in it with hose stuck in stones ,. Cover with dirt , dig hole 1’ by 1’ wire bottle to height for you . We have had this setup in our wall tent for years works great .

Idk guys but I need some help. My tracker boat is from 2010 and I bought it brand new. But when I take it fishing I always get water in my boat. Idk from where. Idk if it's from turning the livewell on and getting water in that way? Can anyone help.

I get the same in my 2003 pro team 175.I bought it last year .Bought new drain plugs still get water in bilge area.I just noticed tonight water dripping from the keel.Their is silicone running all along the keel looks like it was done by the factory but not sure. Some of the silicone is missing from where the leak is coming from.

TheIndianscout I kinda figured out that when I turn the live well on it leaks from the connections or the hose is cracked. Might check those as well.

@@Rubo7 Mine leaks when the live well isn't being used I had checked the pump before.I happened to notice it when I leveled the trailer to put the trailer on my hitch.I found some other complaints about leaks from the keel for these tracker boats on some other forums.

A word of caution, actually a couple ... Water weighs a lot. If you fill your boat up with water below the deck(s) you've doubled or tripled the weight of your boat on the trailer. You are "pushing" the opposite direction that the boat was designed to resist stress and strain. This isn't like having a bilge full of water when the boat is sitting in water because the support is only provided by the contact points on the trailer. You can break the keel, you can punch trailer fittings (not so much with full length bunks like this boat has and you can see the bunks in the video, but seriously think about this if you have rollers) through the hull, the trailer can fail and drop your boat with bunk or roller supports coming up through the hull ... Etc. A boat like this tracker could easily have a ton and a half of water in it before it comes up from the bilge and rises above the deck plates. I'm not saying not to use this method, I'm saying be aware of what you're doing to your boat and trailer. I'm also saying don't walk away and forget that the hose is running because you might come back to a boat shaped like a hotdog bun and a trailer that looks like a pretzel. Also consider that because you're stressing the boat with a lot of weight in a manner it was not designed to handle you might actually create leaks were there were none before by doing this test. Just be careful and don't put a drop more water in that hull than you need to.

Michael Davenport replied then deleted this -- "This boat has rollers not bunks at least mine does."

You can see the bunks in the video above. It depends on which trailer they put the boat on at the factory and whether or not the boat is on its original factory trailer. Please don't reply to a comment then delete your reply. It just makes you look chickenshit

For many years now, scientists and hunters have proven that deer do not recognize human urine as a sign of predator. In fact, due to the curious nature of deer, if they smell human urine they are more likely to come closer to investigate it, as opposed to running away.

I've made hundreds of different stands being a guide, and an avid hunter, trapper, fisherman, outdoorsman, over the years! I've also made several so called solutions to "potty favors" within the hunting stands/blinds! And having two daughters who are also active in the outdoors, as well as years worth of female clients, it's important to keep each gender in mind when considering these conveniences!!! To fully eliminate the whole scent theory, it should be containable, coverable, and of course easily maintenance free! As some have noted, your pipe/hose will always consistently hold the odors! And also being in northern Wisconsin, burying a jug in the ground will only freeze and explode during most of our best hunting months! And as with any plumbing, you should have a stink (S-trap) trap in your pipe, to stop the odors coming straight up the pipe, and eventually leaking inside your hunting shelter! I've found that layering heavy-duty contractor garbage bags inside each other, and then putting inside a 5 gallon bucket, with a custom made toilet seat made to fit securely, works great for both males and females! Simply just tie the bag shut and carry out to the garbage, during/after each hunt! As for just males, stock piling on your used (but rinsed out) one gallon milk jugs make life easy and more comfortable for those longer sits!!! Easily used and contained in either a tree stand or a blind, and easily carried out and replaced with another, when full!!! Both are convenient, easily accessible, inexpensive, easily disregarded of, and you don't have to worry about the DNR giving you a ticket for an illegal outhouse polluting the ground!!! Lol And YES, I've seen that happen! Even on private property!!!

Some deer may care about the scent but in my case they really couldn’t care less. I made a mock scrape 6ft from the feeder just to see what would happen and I freshen it up every time I bow hunted. My stand is 20 yards away with a similar funnel setup that just drains behind a tree less than 5 ft from me. I have more deer on camera and during hunts than any of my friends on the same lease. It may be because it isn’t a new scent for them at that spot. On top of that I work in a refinery and use my old work boots as my hunting boots because they are very comfortable and free every year. My deer may be nose blind but scent definitely isn’t an issue from my personal experience

I'd do away with the bottle and just place some gravel in the bottom and cover with dirt, your bottle will freeze and bust first winter

bruce carter 👍 - entire bottom of the bottle was cut off (video doesn't do a good job showing it) - think of an upside down funnel, but made from iced tea bottle... Update - I've had it for a season now - worked awesome! At the end of the season I poured down a bottle or two of water for a quick rinse... had deer right underneath me all season last year...

your going to need something to clean that pipe so there is no smell. .... trust me the deer will be able to smell that and I would go a bit deeper with that bottle
