That was a fun race, I was in the novice class b main and I ended up finishing 2nd in the a-main. Hopefully Kaitlyn can get some more practice in a smaller novice class. I tried to run a 10th scale in a 8th scale race and got ran into and broke before the races. So someone let me use their ebuggy and that was my first time (couple of weeks ago) and now This was my second time ever running with a 8th scale. I don’t know how I got 2nd 😂 these novice classes are like the biggest classes at all the club races it’s so hard to get used to driving and the track with so many people around with you. Lol

Is the raptor r better then the udr performance wise

Because of the scale. I don’t think we can technically say one is better or worse than the other. They are similar in appearance but significantly different in performance wise due to their scale and the udr being a much heavier vehicle. But if it was up to my opinion, I would say the udr is a better performer than the raptor r if you were specifically talking side by side all the technicality’s put aside.

Any RC that you add 3 times it’s weight in mud is going to fail. If you don’t like this truck then you don’t like the slash 4x4 because it’s identical minus the wheels base.

my wheels hit the shocks and my tire won't turn as my diff is unlocked. how did you get around that?

Mine slightly rubbed the spring at first but didn’t cause any issue. They make offset adapters for wheels in various sizes, but for this rig we decided to print some to get about 7mm of clearance to keep the tire as under the fender as we could. For the tire not turning your going to have to space the wheel out to have freedom to rotate or lock the diff and force it to rotate.

All of these parts can be had for under $200 on Amazon as an FIY to anyone making this. Paying almost $400 for this and not getting something as clean as the fisher motor works one is quite the ask lol.

All the links are in the description and I mentioned this in the video lol... My kit is for someone that doesn’t want to piece buy and guess if they got all the components, have to cut the pipe and then finally assemble. Fisher looks good and seamless but it’s ultimately made from plastic. (I understand he had some issues and updated his material) I 3D print parts for a living and even using carbon they can only be so strong. Vs a molded OE manufacture plastic such as the factory intake box.

The motor didn’t like having to pull the truck through the thick mud and ended up overheating as a result and ruined the magnets inside the motor.

“Boys” referring to you the viewers. It is very common where I live to talk like that with your friends and I consider my viewers my friends so I talk to you guys as my friends. Other places refer to friends as “homies” or “bros” I’ve always used boys and it’s just naturally in my vocabulary lol.
