If you've seen the movie, it's because Joker was killing people by making them die of laughter (literally) and the last scene (this) is Joker who makes Batman laugh and he doesn't stop.

That's kinda sad. The Batman laughing for the joker for his final moments. He at least gave him a nice death. Although quite undeserving considering what he did to barbara.
