Ned's singing has always been haunting in this scene, and the moment where everyone else joins in is so good. I can also imagine it was crazy to record. You can even hear a few specific voices, Homer, Lisa, Krusty towards the ends, and especially Barny's operatic tones.

Its not just that Ned isnt useful, or Springfield wouldn't need left handed stores in the aftermath, but Ned is the only one with the courage to actually step outside, due to his faith.
