Yes it is beautiful,i live in Hereford near the wye. But unfortunately it is now heavily polluted by agriculture, chicken farms and sewage. The water quality is bad, wild life is declining and every summer it is green and slimy with algae.

Go back every year, since 1958. Unspoilt, uncommercialised. Pure heaven.

Sometimes you can take it for granted and you can forget just how stunningly beautiful the Wye valley is.

I was looking for a nice relaxing video of the River Wye to ease my mind of current goings on in my life and here I found one. What a wonderful picture of this part of the Wye Valley you have captured and with the most fitting music. I have discovered Chepstow over two visits in recent years and hope to revisit again soon. Also I would like to revisit Monmouth and Hay-on-Wye, the latter after a fantastically warm out of season day I went there in February 2019 whilst on a short break in Kington a few miles north. Awesome video Andy! You sure found some incredible viewpoints and the music goes so well with sounds of the waves on the beach. The fossils were fascinating to see, I bet it’d be a lot of fun to go on one of those guided fossil hunting tours. My favorite was the Durdle Door. Thanks for bringing us along! 👍🦖
