Excellent tutorial, thank you! The method you show us with a thin cord tied tightly around the end of the braid seems to be the best and strongest way to secure the braid before glueing, I have been studying a few different ways of finishing and this looks like the most secure. Also using a chain to make the bracelet (or necklace) adjustable is brilliant! Thank you again!

This was brilliant! Can’t wait to do this with my Mirabilia “Snow Queen”…and all my other paper charts!

I was disappointed. The title seemed to have so much promise, but alas, it is Apple specific and Good Notes is a subscription. You not only have to pay to get access to the app, but you also have to pay more to use all of it's functions. However, excellent presentation and the instruction is clear and easy to follow. If I chose, I could do these steps quite easily on my iPad. I like that Good Notes has an undo feature, which Pattern Keeper does not have.

Really useful , thanks I was wondering what on earth those needles were for , they're on an online seller I was browsing, & I thought it seemed gimmicky! I'm a novice , but adding to my supplies.

Hi Lisa! I hope you are well. It's been a while since we've seen you, so I hope all is ok. I've just watched your wonderful Chatelaine start video and I can't thank you enough for it! I've had my Chatelaine fabric and floss for a few months now and I've been putting off the start. Yours is absolutely beautiful. I've seen you more recent chatelaine videos, but there's nothing quite like seeing a blank canvas and a start. I've got the motivation now, I'll start this weekend!! Anyway, thank you again and take care. Jo xx

I know this video is old and you probably won’t see this, or anyone for that matter… I have 2 Chatelaine’s kitted up but haven’t started either one! Honestly, I’m not as nervous about the specialty stitches (although I’ve never done them). The charts themselves scare me! Even on the PDF, the way it is split up I am honestly scared on where to start and messing up from the very beginning! Any suggestions would be EXTREMELY helpful! They are gorgeous designs and I really want to get one stitched.

I have been watching your video on Setting up my drafting table! and was puzzled when you said the table size was 118 cm. That's the same as my dining table. Big!! Is it just the table or does it include the extended bit? Could you please tell me the table size, not including the extend bit. TY

Hi Lisa I found you when I googled 'Mary Berry christmas cake' and saw you making it for the first time, it was so helpful. That was Dec 2021 and whilst your blogs were old I watched them all and all your xmas ones again christmas just gone. I was so sad that you stopped doing Just Lisa, I loved it. However, you mentioned another blog and I googled and googled you and today I found Crafty Lisa! Now I have more to watch but the time line of when this was posted and what you were saying about going through the wringer, Daisy and work stress, I really do hope you are okay and come back soon.

Your demo is very clear and easy to follow. I found a similar way to create PDF files. Bunt I import them into an App called Pattern Keeper which is fabulous. Only runs on Android unfortunately but great app.

What if you already have the pattern in PDF form from Pinterest which are usually just one page? Could you give the instructions to do this? Whenever I try the pattern is so small and always on one page. Thank you.
