This yacht is nice and well appointed and laid out. I love the simple and modern design. The only thing that I feel is a negative, is the formal dining. I feel that experience would be very controversial seeing as it’s open and not enclosed. I feel that this is something that this builder can change per customer request. Great video and thank you for sharing.

How can you spend $3 million on a complete refit and sell it for only $4.3 million. Someone must’ve lost out. She is a beauty though.

As David Seal explained it to me, when I had the same question about another yacht, a boat is what it is worth, and no amount of refurbishment will increase that value more than 10-15%. In this case, the owner probably had little choice if they wished to sell the boat. The goal is to recover the refurbishment coast plus more than they would have been able to sell the boat for without a refurbishment. This 94 boat would have sold for less than a million dollars unrefurbished. Personally, I would not have made the investment. But, everyone has their own calculus. This boat will sell for about $3.9 million. I don't see much of a profit. Likely breakeven. Of course, we don't know what the "real" cost for refurbishment was. I suspect that it was less than claimed, and that is where the profit is. Who knows?

I love all the TV's everywhere. I hate yachts that try to hide TV's behind mirrors or they put them on the cradle systems which forever break. Granted the TV's don't get used much, but if you live on the yacht or use it a lot, not everyday that you can be outside in the sun. Sometimes it rains all day and sometimes you just need a break. Plus this yacht was in the northern climates a few times so I'm sure there were days you wanted to stay warm inside until it was time to head i to port.

Did I miss it or does this beautiful sport fish NOT have an aft control center for backing down on fish? I went back to look and didn't find any. That would seem to be a large oversight on the designer or owner or both. Still...a gorgeous ship.

One of the first super yachts I’ve seen that actually looks like a boat. I don’t mean that in any derogatory way. Many of the modern yachts featured, look like five star hotels on steroids. It is refreshing to see a yacht, that makes you feel you are at sea.

SEA AXIS is a very classy vessel. She was built in 1986 but saw a structural rebuild in 2009-2010 then had interior refurbishments in 2015 and 2018. Thank you for commenting!

I wonder if they sold it for the asking price. 3.2 mil seems a lot but I may be very wrong. A few customization options are idiosincratic but generally a very nice boat. For some reason, even though I hate teal and white, I really like the interior colors. SO tired of "3-star Helsinki hotel" palette. I swear, if I see one more "grey upholstery - ash plywood - matte handles" interior, I will SCREAM. This torqoise/teal getup looks fresh and decadent, even if not to everyone's liking.

I'd prefer doing a refit on 175ft or 225 or 250 ft oil rig supply boat with a wide open deck. Mount a big azz crane on her to lift a 55 Scout or Donzi when you want to fly around way out in the open sea. Make the living quarters nice but not super luxurious. No pools. The ocean actually does a fairly good job of mimicing a pool.with enough space id set up a helipad and keep a bird on deck for goofing around. Thats enough toys except for a diving platform .
