I really love these cars. They’re the only subway cars with quiet HVAC unit and have a clear sound on their propulsion rather than other cars that have an interrupted sound due to their loud HVAC like the r211. Also, this subway car ranks as one of the only two subway cars with the greatest audio quality as the r142 in my opinion. The rest of the ntts have a regular to bad audio quality on their speakers. These are things that bombardier did well. 💪👏

How is the R179 motor creepy- I like the Propulsion, stop bullying the R179, they're not problematic anymore. They have improved since 2020, and they're a lot better nowadays and WAY better MTA Subway Trains. These are actually ranked as the most reliable Subway Train in New York City Subway. So next time, why don't you shut up and stop calling these beautiful trains lemons alr? I love their propulsions, appearance and ride quality and any other Features it has. Nothing about this is creepy, these are Beautiful, Futuristic and r one of the NTTs, it's not about the sound, it's about the experience. So next time, think twice before u talk about my R179s. Those are W Subway Cars. Fly high R179d.

Tbh I kind of agree the R32s were great but the R179 was a good replacement and I speak from expirence bc I rode them in the (C)

@@citybird104 I've riden them on the A, and C when I lived on them, but I miss when I lived on the J, and I'm talking about the era when the M ran to Broadway Junction
