I'm so relieved to know nobody was hurt in your group or at the refuge. Me and my daughter were on the summit 5 weeks before you and we just can't believe what happened. Thank you for sharing. Glad you're all safe and I hope you can summit another day.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, we were the lucky ones for sure! Conversations already taking place to hopefully get out there this time next year to summit and we’re heading back out on Monday to assist with the aid operation for a couple days!

@@summitupmark5615 our experience was amazing too until 23:10 on that first night but the locals still looked after us and the guides were superb throughout! Certainly will be back 👊🏼

What started off as an amazing trek with stunning views quickly turned into an horrific disaster. The devastation is heartbreaking. You were all so brave on your return journey down the mountain and so glad you are all back on English soil safe and sound. My heart goes out to those who weren’t so lucky ❤💙

Plenty of parking and some lovely walks! Make sure the dog is on a lead as plenty of wandering livestock

Wish I had of got this tent, instead of the oex phox 2 I mean I love mine but,the extra space and vestibule area for not much more weight is priceless

Very exposed so wouldn’t be great in high winds. You’d find space for multiple tents. Adam in the wild did a video where there’s a big group of them

Cheers for the vid mate. Great insight and looked like a fantastic trip. I wild camp with my 13 year old son. Bothy camp and a beach on the West Coast of Scotland a couple of times so far. We're doing Hallin Fell on Saturday. First hill camp, if you like, so been researching for a few weeks and it looks perfect in most ways. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers buddy. 👍

You’ll have a great time, short but steep! Just keep your eye on mountain forecast and local forecasts for your wind speeds as wasn’t a lot of pitches with cover if the winds do get up! Hope you have a great experience!

Yeah it's gonna be light showers all day and maximum 10mph winds so seems sound. We're just easing into different places whilst being sensible about distance, difficulty and obviously weather! Been doing plenty research and I reckon this is a perfect start. Not looking forward to walking up still. 😬🙆♂️🤣👌

It’s served me well so far! Still contemplating a couple modifications to the hood that goes over the top but that’s more to tighten that up for winter! Cheers for watching

Great video Rossy. Does drinking whisky at night keep you warm when it’s cold or is that just a myth? How friendly are the sheep out there I once got attacked by one in Porthmadog quite scary when it happened 😮
