How I can start my own flowers preservation business?
@GinnyVie_creates2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ivette, you may take the technique Ive shown here to implement into your business and preserve other people's flowers. Whatever avenue you take, good luck!

UPDATE 2021, the wedding shadow box bouquet is still holding up very well! Highly recommend anyone who want to preserve their special day flowers.

@@GinnyVie_creates how about their colour? Does it change or turn into brown? I did the same preservation method and put my flowers in a shadow box. Unfortunately, their colour only last for a couple weeks before it turns into brown. Would you give me some tips? 😃
@GinnyVie_creates2 жыл бұрын
@@ashifacahyani960 Hi, how long did you preserve the flowers in the silica gel for? Different type of flowers may require longer time. That is my only guess, I hope that help.
@ashifacahyani9602 жыл бұрын
@@GinnyVie_creates I preserved my roses in silica gel for about 15-20 days. Then I put them in a shadow box like you did. Their shape still remain the same, but their colour change (it becomes brown)

Hi :) I am thinking about getting into felting like this my son would love them, what do you recommend for me to get to start and do you have any more videos of how to do other vegetables? :)
@GinnyVie_creates3 жыл бұрын
That's wonderful! To get started i would recommend making easy shapes to make it easy to stitch, then proceed on more tedious ones as you get better. I will note in future videos to make other items.
@180608becky3 жыл бұрын
@@GinnyVie_creates thank you for the reply :) I will try the more easy ones then first. Do you know anywhere I can get patterns from as I’m not sure what shapes to cut yet also a lot of places in the uk you have to subscribe and it’s expensive for some ones I’ll only need to print the ones :) Thank you again :)

It's called ruching. I was looking for a video on how to not glue but, sew the ruching and applique to a quilt. Your rings are lovely!
@GinnyVie_creates8 жыл бұрын
+Lindie Lee Great! Thanks for looking it up Lindie. Same with me, most of the time I prefer sewing it rather than glueing it, it provide better quality. I did not know the term until now, thanks to you! =) I'm glad you like the rings, aren't they cute!

what's that fabric called you used for the red and the black &white rose??? really loved the video and planning on making some soon.
@GinnyVie_creates9 жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry for the late reply, those are cotton fabric and it came in a big roll at my local fabric store. If you cannot find those you can easily make your own by folding your choice of fabric into that size and sew it. Please ask if you have any questions.

starrish Thanks! The brown/yellow flower was not shown because it was a similar method as the black/white as well as the peach one except that the fabric was a little bigger. If it is still not clear, please let me know. Thanks for watching! =)
