@@Victimizer68 it’s just like pex. It’s smaller though. Its refrigerator water line. I don’t know what they call it. I got it at Home Depot in the plumbing section. It’s the water line that runs from under your sink or from the wall or whatever, and up to your fridge for the ice maker. It’s that hose.

@@adolg4049 man I don’t know. I’d have tried (in this order) battery, fuse, programming, but then I’m stumped. Wonder if the fob died. Do you have another one you can try to see if the fob is bad?

Yeah that good ethanol free stuff is liquid gold. If I did it again I’d put it on ramps or something to lift it. Anything to get the gas cans lower to keep the draw in the tubing.

That will work. You don’t need a working remote as long as you have a key for the ignition. You can do it just like I did and program the new remote without having a working remote. You should be fine. 👍🏼

Is it new? I wonder if someone before you changed the locks or changed out the ignition if the ignition key isn’t the door key. In 2000 they should have been the same key.

@@Phatphatyoall I know is the key that came with it looks like the ones they come with from factory and looks like the original I thought maybe my door cylinder was siezed but my trunk lock also doesn’t move

@@nolanbollenbacher609 yeah that’s what I’d think unless it was multiple locks and it sounds like it is. You could try graphite or a lock lubrication fluid but I’d multiple locks are doing it I doubt they’re seized.

Yeah I don’t know if I’d dare try a ribbed tube unless it’s super slick and you think it could slide past the catch. Yes that’s why I had the second tube. Although- I do think that if I had the right size and length of hard plastic tubing (my outer layer) that I could have just used that. It slid back and forth decent and was bigger than my inner. Because the inner was so small it took so danged long to siphon. Bigger would have been a lot faster.

My neighbor had this truck and was about to trade it in. He had ordered a new truck, and was waiting for the dealer to get it in. He filled up his tank with 36 gallons of premium, and then the dealer called and said your truck came in and you can pick it up first thing in the morning. Him we are Bubba and I talked, and I siphoned it out and put half of it in mine and half in his wife’s pilot so that we didn’t give 36 gal back to the dealer.

People think I’m stealing gas but in the video I walk from my garage to the house next door.. probably not stealing from the immediate next door neighbor. Haha. Also this process works but it’s SOOOO slow. Be sure you’ve got time if you do it this way. Criminals drill the tank for a reason. It’s faster I’m sure. This took an hour and a half per 5 gallon can.

@@mexicasoldier8364 you got it. If you get anything stuck down there (be sure whatever you buy for the outer tube is slick so it slides past the catch), I’ve got a video of how to get it out. If it happens don’t freak out and take it to a dealer. People do that all too often. Just be sure your tubing is hard plastic or pvc type that will slide out easily. If you got one that slid easy enough you probably don’t need an inner tube. That would make it a ton faster because the inner one has to be smaller than the outer the way I did it. Doing it again I’d get bigger hard tubing and ditch the inner tubing as I don’t think you’d need it if the hard stuff was long enough. Food for thought.

I don’t know. I know that people often confuse programming the immobilizer chip in the key with programming the key fob for lock/unlock/panic/trunk functions but I don’t know about all of the other methods to do this. This is the method I came up with to do it (Usually you have both keys, but in the event that you don’t..).

Walking from my garage to Nextdoor is hardly stealing. Thieves go across town, not to their Nextdoor neighbor. Also, if I stole gas I wouldn’t use 1/4 inch tubing because that 36 gallon drain (weird that I mentioned in the video that I knew it was full) would take hours, and not 3 or 4. It took like 8 hours to do. Thieves drill a hole. Thanks for the accusations but this was meant to be educational. I’ve got other videos driving this truck; it doesn’t mean I broke into it and programmed a new key. It’s the neighbor that had just filled and got a call that his truck arrived. He was about to trade it in. Half of the gas went into my truck and half went into his pilot. He just couldn’t use it all. Honestly I should do some YouTubing and find a criminals channel because I could have used a better way so I didn’t have to swap cans out every 3 hours. They probably know all of the good ways.

@@Phatphatyo people get shown how to steal them hyundais so just about everyone will probably do it for just a thrill now. i would hope if you are going to steal gas, not you but anyone, just siphon from the fill tube. at least the owner wont have to have the extra burden of having to be out of all that gas and buy a new fuel tank! just be sure that people dont steal E85 cause thatll tear up cars that arent designed to handle that fuel

You should still have the “on” key stop in your ignition. When the key goes in it’s “off”. One click is accessory, the next is “on”, and the next is start. There should be 4 positions. You want the third. As for starting without the clutch, I’m actually a little jealous of that. That’s cool. But I don’t think it should affect programming a fob, but I don’t know for sure. I just wouldn’t think it would stop it from doing it.

@@Phatphatyo yeah it’s weird I only have really two turns. The first turn is from initially when I put my key in which turns on all the power in the car, the next is starting the car. Which doesn’t make any sense because we literally have the exact same car same year same everything

@@Phatphatyo I did it again but without pressing the on off button after the glasses and break and then it flashed 3x for some reason. I tried the same on another focus (this one’s an se) we have here and it also did the same two flashes with the on off and also did the 3 without the on off. No idea why but that worked for my rs and the se

Oh yeah. They’ll handle strapping turbos to them with no work done. And the sound is the best. They sound like what the civics with the fart cans on the back were supposed to sound like but didn’t.
