Good responses by Rob Williams to typical crap from the media about strikes and strikers. I'm not a Trot or a member of the Socialists Party, but I am an active shop steward in Unison and work in local government. I do think Rob should have contradicted the statement that incomes have kept pace with inflation, as I know that council workers are not the only group of workers who have lost money in real terms over the last 4 years. Our pay has gone down by 20% in real terms in that time. The media always use this term and say incomes have gone up, but it is an average and includes bank employees and others on massive incomes and massive bonuses and pay increases.Unfortunately, my union is run by a right wing and useless General Secretary. He is also a director at the bank of England, surely that just about sums him up.

Hard to believe Johnson and Cameron cried crocodile tears about 7 /7, when you are the people who deals with our travel security etc , and that nightmares aftermath.

I am a train and tube user and just want to congratulate you on your strike . Well done you lot , where would we be without your work. Amost all your staff are friendly and professional. If you didn't have the right to strike then basically you would be paid slaves. Good look fighting for whats fair and proper. The strike shows how dependent we the british public (and visitors etc ) are on you . I am only proud to be British when I see things like this.Well done and I would never cross a picket line. Respect from a working class northerner .

An excellent conference. Rank and file leaders from every important dispute in England and Wales from the last 12 months was spoke from the platform. After the key role the NSSN has played in bringing about November 30th and after the NSSN is going from strength to strength.
