Hey you low IQ beast, when whites got here, they built a country from nothing. They didn't sneak into a ready-made country to live off of its population's welfare payments. Also, "Native Americans" came here from Siberia just like everyone else came from somewhere else. The difference is, immigrants like Omar come here begging for our charity and then tell us how we should run things. Whites never did that. Your IQ is too low to understand any of these differences though, moron.

I've been in music for 12 years now and was involved with bands across houston for 6 of those years... I think i know what i hear. But an opinion is just that. You're entitled to yours.

I'm by far closer to PV as this is where my seat was. I didn't bother moving. PV doesn't appear louder in the vid to anyone who knows how to judge band videos. Nor does TxSU sound better.
@coog201111 жыл бұрын
Seems like you're closer to PV... So PV's power appeared louder because of distance... HOWEVER...... Txsu still sounds better. But Pv sounded clean as well. Very good battle.

@SonicBoomC9811 жыл бұрын
Well, since they're not coming this week, I guess we won't know that for sure.
@SonicBoomC9811 жыл бұрын
I'm sure there is a way to the conference could make a request for a 25 minute half-time instead of 20 for conference games. In band 2.5 minutes could be another song, another formation on a drill, or a slightly longer dance.
@storm14k11 жыл бұрын
Goal was to give the alumni a full ballad which the band used to be known for but hasn't done in a number of years. Halftime is too short now. It had both sides of the stadium singing it. They won't be in Jackson to my knowledge.
@SonicBoomC9812 жыл бұрын
I guess it was a good show. I'm not sure why the didn't do more drilling. They could have shorted "Can We Talk" a little bit. They marched well and sounded good for what they did do. I'm assuming they won't be there this weekend???????
@storm14k12 жыл бұрын
Most bandheads I've seen comment on it don't agree. Folks with sense realize they just did a short drill to setup for a long concert number. Folks lookin for somethin to hate on see what they wanna see.
@woolly6512 жыл бұрын
PV was that suppose to be a precision drill? Sad,sad, sad!!! Even the LEAST of the of the HBCU marching bands put a better product than that. And please don't make an excuse about it being the first game of the year. I'm not HATING. Most bandheads outside of PV fans would agree.

Diz arranger iz da best out dere kauz it waz played wit much emotion and heart. Prof. Edwards put his heart into diz arrangement which iz y we kan feel it in our heartz wen we hear it. R.I.P. Prof. Edwards

To all of you who think you have to play everything traditionally... you will never stand out. The reason Prof wrote this was to make sure we stood out from the rest. This rendition is the best I have heard and I am not biased. I hope we all can enjoy it without bashing. Listen to the chords, and the movement, feel our PROF put his heart into this arrangement.

As a fellow musician, it is beautiful and the chords are nice even in the fleeting tones with the major 7ths and all, but I also agree that this is too much of a traditional song to have all these fleeting interpretations going around. Once again, nice rendition of the version that Whitney Houston performed at the Super Bowl(I can't remember the exact one or year), but the furthest that I can go from the standard version is the arrangement done by UAPB.
