Thanks Kent. I tried looking for flights about 2 months ago and it’s so expensive to fly anymore. The long drive should be worth it and I’ll try to make a few videos from the trip. Hope all is well with you.

Fun fact, so cats generally see us as big cats, and cats normally wake up more than us, and in general sleep lighter. Humans tend to have a single, solid sleep through the night. When a cat is affectionate in the morning like this, it's because they've probably checked on you during the night and worried that you may not be alive. Your cat is saying "I am happy you are still alive. I love you."

My cat used to love to do this. And did it all the time. Problem was is the frontal part of his head kept getting wet. And he got a really bad infection that made a hole in his face. So please please be careful and make sure that you dry the cat off completely each time

Thanks for the compliment. Ruben is a mix of russian blue and tabby, and Stacey is either calico or tortoiseshell.

As far as I know, they are both domestic shorthairs. In fact, my previous cat that got put down in May looked just like Ruben, the all-gray one. They have been a lot of fun despite occasional ‘trouble.’
