Been a metalhead for life and been into poppy since her creepy cute yt days back in 2017 but stopped listening when she started doing cringe pop metal. And don’t get me wrong I love Poppy, but she kinda sucked balls here. (Compare her vocals on the single vs this version side by side. Veteran metalheads/punks will def know what I mean.) She’s just… been a singer and a metal vocalist for too long now, to not know what she’s doing live. Not to mention, she has unlimited resources from her record label to help her train and get better. No excuses. Definitely needs to work on her technique, she’d be killing shit even MORE. She’s already a triple threat. 😊 Anyway, enough hating lol. Their single is dope as fuck. I hope they make more songs together and she continues honing her skills. 🤘🏽❤

Im a fan of her, but her vocals didn't shine here as she usually do live screams! She definitely has a technique, but in this performance i didn't really saw it! Maybe she was very excited to perform live with knocked loose and since this was the debut performance for the song she tried to push a little too hard to match Brian delivery. Or maybe she didn't warm up her voice before coming up to the stage, since she just appeared has a special guest in her song with bad omens and this one that day!

Poppy sounds sick, but shes gonna burn out if she doesnt work on those screams. Ive been so excited to see her gain traction in the metal world, id hate to see her blow out her voice early on. I've been screaming for 12 years, and i know that what she's doing won't last long. Can't wait to hear more though!

I’m gonna go against the grain and say: she doesn’t sound the best live? She could definitely use some lessons and a bit of practice. She’s a rough edge that just needs some honing and polish and she’ll be killing it even more.
