This is all just to make lots of money. Bike tests are just like car tests; once you've passed, just about everyone drives totally differently from how they were taught. You couldn't keep riding as they taught you because you would never get anywhere. This is all just to make lots of money.

I only got 1 fault on mine all because when I was accelerating out of the bend for the emergency stop a muntjac deer had snuck through the fence on to the test track which caused me to swerve. The tester didn’t believe me at first but did when it ran through the middle of the track when I done my swerve manoeuvre 😂

Exactly what i did yesterday (with a few shoulder checks thrown in just in case) and passed my MOD1 with no minors 😊 65kmh and 63kmh on the speedtraps

Tip 2. Get into second gear and rev the engine with the clutch in the friction zone. Less torque this way. And use your back brake. Don’t front break while moving slow in a turn ever.

This it what happened to me! One question if not doing slow maneuvers just going around the corner like 30 or 40 km and covering rear break little bit, do you use clutch as well? I only use friction zone at slow maneuvers or pulling away or stopping is that ok?

Loved watching that Mod 2 video. So concise and clear to follow. Exceptional riding from the “student” and in my humble opinion a clear pass with absolutely no minors that I could pick up on. He looked in total control and was very safe.

I’ve been told I have to do both shoulder checks before/ after stopping, manoeuvring etc along with a lifesaver- even pulling out of the test centre… which seems a hell of a lot- whereas this rider doesn’t seem to do that only one over shoulder every now and then and some life savers

I have failed 3 times now. Learning by watching this video. Hoping to pass in my next one .

Hi, If you are turning right on a roundabout whereby two lanes turn right, would you still indicate right irrespectively? As I am getting confused on how to approach the 'outter' right hand lane - it would feel, to me, that to indicate right, the persons in the 'innermost' right hand lane may feel that I am cutting them up? Some roundabouts have two right hand lanes with specific road markings. After passing the 12 o'clock mark in this instance, would I simply cancel my right indicator until my exit is up, by which I'd indicate and lifesaver left to come off? This is what would make sense to me. What would the expectation be on MOD 2 for this? Thanks

I assume these rules apply to riders in countries that drive on the left, and for countries that drive on the right they would be switched the other way around. It might be good to mention this as this video is watched in many countries.
