Question.. if the OE spores are on the leaves and you use your process.. shouldn't you use a clean plate to put the treated leaves on?? .. if you put them on the same plate, you could be reinfecting them.

I do have to admit thou jets dumping raw fuel to change load weight .... in my "opinion" this is a little sketchy to say the least .... fact be known petroleum fuels do contain carcinogenic chemicals... so i guess part of the conspiracy would be correct.. more case study would need to be done as to how often and how many jets do this

The sheep will never understand what you’re saying. From a old airline pilot. I have watched contrails for hours from the airplanes in front of me. As they flew through air masses with different moisture content it would look like the contrails where being switched on and off, due to the moisture content. You probably get a lot of nasty comments due to your disclaimer at the start of the video. I totally agree 100% of what you are saying.

heres a nice memory I just remembered! My Mom made a dry arrangement for a flower show. She had a really nice branch stuck in a vase, and she glued some milkweed fluff on, just a few of the twigs. It was really minimalist and very nice. At the show, the arrangement was right under an air conditioner unit on the ceiling. It blew on the arrangement and the fluff danced around! She won the 1st prize and it might have been the top prize over all too, but she had arrangements in all the categories and won 1st in them all! It was quite the scandal cuz she was President of her club at the time. TY for bringing back that memory!

I couldn’t find the page online of facebook. Also I found some milkweed plants by a spit where last year they were mowed, any suggestions as to how to transfer them into pots. I don’t have a backyard, but I have a balcony and I would like to give them a chance

We had not clue how many eggs mama would load our small plant up with so we have another larger plant and many large mesh containers so fingers crossed we can get everyone spread out with enough to eat(:

We have two small plants and didn’t realize these few monarchs would LOAD UP every leaf in eggs

Some other things to include is check the mom for OE first, treat the eggs as needed, I personally would not leave the mama butterfly in the net for as long to reduce maybe the large quantity of eggs of the same genetic makeup and if possible another butterfly and repeat the process so there's more genetic diversity. thank you so much for this information! it's my first year trying this and i've already released more than 25 butterflies since april 1st. it's been incredibl! i am currently raising them to be outside to have the natural elements but contained by a mesh bag around the plant. there was an just oe outbreak on the two potted plants so i euthanized all of the caterpillars & quarantined the rest. for future caterpillars though and on the potted plant, is it a good idea to dunk each leaf into this solution or even spray technique to further prevent the oe? i appreciate your time and yay for butterflies

I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize a chrysalis this way. It didn't seem to pupate 100% so that about a quarter of the caterpillar "jacket" was exposed and the chrysalis didn't completely seal. The experience made me forgo monarch rearing all together especially not having any friends or family who are entomologists for advice.

Great video and I've learned a lot from your videos! I watched another video where a lady said if your bleach is 7.5 to 8.5 use 32 parts water and 1 part bleach. She dunks it up and down and all around in the bleach water for 3 minutes and does the same in only water for 3 minutes and another time in another bowl of water for 3 minutes then lets them dry. My milkweed after doing this gets limp and wilted easily. Am I doing this wrong? Will the baby caterpillars eat the milkweed if it's droopy? Please help! I appreciate it! Have you made a video on cleaning the leaves only also?

The monarch that I have keeps escaping and has actually fallen quite a few times from our counter height table. It's been more than the expected amount of time before it's supposed to cocoon, is there any reason to believe that the number of times it's fallen has taken too much of a physical toll?

This debunk is funk because nobody views the sun setting at eye level. Your camera is at different heights in both experiments. I only wonder what kind of science teacher doesn't know how to perform experiments properly.

I noticed the camera is situated at two different heights for both experiments. The artificial sun is the same height as the camera or "viewer" of the eventual setting sun in the railway experiment, but not in the bridge one... If the experiment is done correctly, you would need to attempt to make the sun disappear the way FE says it does, but nobody is viewing the sunset from the height of the sun.

I just lost 8 catipillars and had 1 deformed butterfly due to (this) I believe. I’m devastated and I’m hoping to do better this next generation
