Honestly, while not the best film I truly think this is the best place to end the series. Barbosa has died for something other than treasure and plunder, although he had all the riches of his dreams for 5 years and ruled the seas. Sparrow finally sets sail on the Pearl after years but he's growing old, I like to think that is a reason for his odd behavior in the last two films, but he can still sail for treasure on seas which aren't cursed. Will and Elizabeth are finally and truly reunited and all the curses of the world are broken. I also don't get the whole Davy Jones coming back thing since...he's cursed but I'll just put that down as it being a dream.
