why are you doing an airtight test with the rain/ wind layer (Solitex wrap)? not inside with intello layer? Sydney NSW isn't tropical, where the airtight layer is at the outside of building (north Queensland)

Have really enjoyed watching all your videos, especially as I have been spending a lot of time recently researching pro clima products for our upcoming build (old terrace renovation). Thank you so much for sharing not only your expertise but also your passion.

Excellent result showing that a high level of air tightness can be obtained without a membrane on the interior side of the wall. But will you be also installing a vapour restrictive membrane on the interior side (with services cavity) to reduce vapour entering the wall from inside? Or is this not required for the Sydney climate?

Thanks Mark. They Sydney climate is a little tricky, as your winters are humid in general and every project has multiple solutions to achieve the desired outcomes with a detailed PHPP analysing different solutions. In this project we are using a ducted dehumidifier to control humidity levels, especially in winter times. As for the use of intello was not necessary for the climate conditions, and the external wrap is airtight & allows any vapour to escape. Hope that answers your question.

Can you use strip footing in a circular building? but it must be more expensive to bend them

Yes, you can use special strip footing permanent formwork, to control your concrete quantity and shape.

Is the elevated slab more expensive? And if so, by what factor? Thanks.

Down sloping land, fill up the front, make Basement under ground garage and rooms. Living area on one level. Front looking one level, back looking two level. Does this structure possible in Parramatta area?
