As a mid Michigan boy who grew up on Bob Seger, this is a abomination of this song. I normally love songs by this band, but this one is absolutely ridiculous…. The tempo is a third too fast and there is no feeling in the voice. This is crazy. How dare them even record this song

and yeah the decisions taken like becoming dumb and not reading the sign or choking on the steak etc. as a coping mechanism, likely the best option out there short of self-induced inner peace. still a fun song.
